If you get a chest during the beta...but then don't OPEN it...do you still keep the chest itself when the beta ends? As for the servers being down, I'm not terribly surprised--Steam itself has been acting wonky for me all day. Like, I tried to post this really weird screenshot and it just showed up as a blank box that doesn't load. Oh, mygod. These costumes. THESE COSTUMES!! They're so _gorgeous_, so many of them. The Adventures of SUPER-WIGFRID and FLAME-SPIDER! Willow is, of course, _literally_ right smack in her element, I mean if you didn't go nuts with WILLOW'S of all characters FIRE-based costume, you've severely dropped every ball in the world. WX now looks like he _is_ the furnace, and Wilson and Winona both like characters from some EPIC. BATTLE. ANIME. Actually they look like they could be characters from the _same_ theoretical anime, and the fact that their profile quotes are worded simlarly is..._interesting_ for those who think they might be related to each other... (See: Wendy and Maxwell. MAXWELL: I am empty inside. WENDY: I am full of emptiness. LIke that. I'm mostly meh? about the Winona and Wilson idea, but they DO have the same eyes.) However, these items remain on your beta account and you'll be able to use them the next time you enter a DST beta. So if you keep an unopened chest, you'll have that chest waiting for you next time, ready to be opened or kept as a memory.
