What do you want on the next update?

currently the cosmic update, it feels like the game is almost at its end, the dupes finally reached the surface of the asteroid and im thinking that in the final version of the game they will be adding hidden relics all over the map and can be pieced together which will function as a portal or anything.
But what about the next update, I've been checking every entry in the codex and one element got my attention, "radium" which can be used as a power source so maybe the next update will be radiation update? what do you think?

I'm probably alone on this but I would like 3 new production machines

1. A wire maker for higher tier wires(conductive and heavy)

2. A pipe maker for higher tier pipes(radiant and insulated)

3. A tile maker for higher tier tiles(plastic, metal, insulated)

Here's why.

I get it that we need wires, pipes and tiles from the start but there should be a distinction between tiers. 

Better things should need better production methods not just better materials. I think it would make the game more challenging

Exosuit overhaul I want jump jets even more now, pipe/wire cutters would be super handy for redesigning on the fly, backpacks, and can we get a downside to overloading an area with morbs, like, if morb count > 20 spawn morbstrocity, eats morbs and excretes slime

I sure hope the cosmos update isn't even close to the finished game.

 

Bit worried the UI can't handle the fairly big production chain expansions, I'm hoping for. We need way more gas/liquid and reason to produce and use them.

 

Pressure update, like having an entire room change from gas to liquid, due to high pressure that will result in changing the temperature that is changes from one type to another. (This would also solve all "issues" of high pressure compression rooms, you would have to stop compressing gas to avoid it turning into liquid.)

Klei has mentioned that they didn't like decor before. I really hope for a full Decor update. Wallpapers & columns which are repeatable make a nice change to the statues/paintings. Paintings are currently ugly and not interesting mechanically. It can relieve so much stress that eating good food is not nearly as important. On the flip side, good quality food is much more interesting to farm but is not even as big of a factor.

Statues and paintings should be limited and provide much more decor. The should be bigger and/or be strange in shape for people to have interesting space optimization choices. I genuinely like the ice sculpture since it's so much more interesting to maintain. Being required to use fish for decor is also much more interesting. I wish fish was just more sustainable. Decor should have some sort of downside. Lava Lamps may heat up the base, Plants may need maintenance. etc. Maybe there's colorful glass gas tubes that add decor to your base but clog up space that could be used for pipes.

I belive next (or one right after it) update will be more like "Social Update". In Roadmap there was a whole paragraph about "more duplicant interactions", and recently in the game files appeared lines about "private rooms" (watermelen671 posted here). Here also well fit decor theme.

Most important for me is finally the layer bugd got fixed. Automation and cables after not shown inside the order they should be and seems disappeared. I also play with C Degree and don't want to see inside the sandox and cellpainter always Kelvin instead. Cell Painter did still not copy heavy wire and ladder cables and the new type of pipes. Steam Turbine is moved one piece to the right after being copied. So it's hard getting rooms and build to the new maps again.

I want more automation things and circuts. Pipe an Gas filters are nice, but  inside normal life it should be possible build those inside a wall title to read from. Sorting and filters for the conveyor systems . To be able to build those things like inside the hidden bases with heavy security doors, desks, steel ladders and those walls used there.

 

And making the loading of save games really really faster. My savegame took about 2-3 Minutes to load at a high speed laptop. That's seems just like a joke. The complete game with save should be loading a my machine within just a few seconds and not minutes.

A few objects that would be nice:

-> An in-pipe Compressor.  Collects packets of the same type until they reach a certain size before releasing them to continue down the pipeline.

-> An Automation Shutoff, allowing you connect or disconnect sections of Automation Grid based on other Automation signals

-> Control Panel Automation.  Connect it to a piece of machinery, and allow Dupes to "Operate" that machine remotely from the Control Panel.  Should also work on flow-rate Valves.

That is an good idea. The maps are small and with each new biome, the map will be smaller and smaller. The possible lack of room comes to worldgen bugs and not proper biomes.

My wishes! New deco plants! We have only the briar and the wheeze wort. Maybe a plant, that eating a special gas and converts it ? And let us make the deco plants renewable. Not the cheating ones. The briar for example. U know, i have the green thumb :D And don't forget to adding the sunflower. She must be plant in the cosmic :D She loves it bright! And let them grow! If they get older, they must grow up. We need a little bit variety of the plants look. The god damn briar looks always the same. A Crap-house plant will be nice. Berta, the little crap plant for example. :o

I've mentioned it before but I would love to see some sort of horticultural/botany update.  New plants for decoration (Crystal briar plant that gives off light), food (rice paddies so I can make Pacu sushi rolls, and production (a carnivorous, Venus fly traptype plant that eats shine bugs and produces lime or fertilizer).

How do you make the map bigger? I don't see an option for it.
