  1. We have automation that can feed the wort, so I insulated a 3 wort room with room for automation. A perfectly insulated cooling room can handle a filled pipe of O2 passing it and cooling the O2 of an insulated SPOM to around 25c. I fill the room with hydrogen and haven't tested other gasses.
  2. If you use command line options like the full screen windowed command line option, the game doesn't use those options when mods forces a restart.
  3. You had this great system of releasing pre-releases on an opt-in basis, to make the main early access release more solid. So wth do you cold release after the product is fully released? This patch should never have been added to a released product, it's broken and ruin's games.
  4. Seems this patch introduced a crash bug related to viewing the skill popup. Worked fine before.
  5. I made a simple ice machine, drop water in some cooled room, but a single CO2 tile from a dupe breathing was in the room. The tile of CO2 eventually got frozen and then tawed and froze and tawed resulting in a huge area around the ice maker having tons of CO2.
  6. The game get completely confused about what packets is in pipes, especially around the time it stutters do to making/breaking pipes somewhere. One of my pipes went from being visually full of oxygen, then showed chlorine and hydrogen, the pipe was a very mixed feeder pipe to a gas sorter. The packets floats above the new gas layer, but the pipes is now on the layer below gas. Termo Sensor seems to have a logick problem. Put a termo sensor on an empty pipe: It is off. Run a packet past the sensor and then empty the pipe and the sensor says the current temp is -27x,x and with it set to above 6.9, it's now defaulting to being on when the pipe is empty. Clicking on the Job Promotion Altert centers the map in the upper left corner.
  7. I find it rather problematic that my doors and drywalls doesn't mix. It leaves gigantic holes everywhere that I can't avoid due to needing access to an area. Take my Telescope it's on top of two mech doors, so I can open them and avoid hot regolith landing on them and cooking the telescope, but at the same time my drill hanging on to the doors need gas so it get's cooled, but now I loss the gas every time I have to open the doors.
  8. I put Shove Vole eggs in a container and when other types of eggs turn into raw egg, the shove vole egg turn into omelette.
  9. I didn't forget it, I just didn't find it important. Needing 5 kg of Nob to create 500 kg of Nob seems an insane conversion rate.
  10. Molecular Forge: 5 kg of Niobium creates 100 kg of Thernum. Metal Refinery: 100 kg of Thernum creates 100 kg of Nobium.
  11. I guess all artist's is always filthy rich that they can just use and throwaway. Or maybe not...
  12. Having to build and remove paintings 3 times to upgrade them is not something the current system is designed to make fun.
  13. The pill machine doesn't seem to attract dupes to deliver balm lily flowers, the dupes delivered coal, but they seem to refuse picking up the flowers and delivering them. Edit: Not sure what is going on, but everything seems fine as I started up the game again. They deliver the flowers with no problem in a freshly loaded game.
  14. While I really appreciate that reed fiber has more uses, I don't understand why you give us a tile that give the same bonus as one that need reed fiber? Crown Molding Tile and Carpeted Tile both give +10 decor. The Carpeted tile takes Balm Lily Seed, Balm Lily Flower and Reed Fiber.
  15. PO and O is the same layer, where PO becomes bands within the oxygen a few tiles high. Sounds like Sour Gas will be between NG and CO2. NG Sour Gas CO2
  16. As mentioned it's possible to make the dupes work in the new system, but it's perfectly balanced against the 24 max required morale. Only thing that is broken is the massage table, dupes will use the table over maxing their morale, at max morale they will loss stress, so it's pointless to have massage tables. Maybe turn on/off the power to the tables so they can only be used during work hours, that might make them work in this build.
  17. I can get my dupes to 25 morale (24 required for top job dupes). If you took shortcuts with your base and didn't already design for maximum morale buff, you will have a HUGE problem trying to convert it while all your dupes is at 100% stress, even my base that had the best food and was designed optimally to avoid stress, it took a lot of cycles before my dupes was up and running under the new morale system and a few hit 100% stress.
  18. Last I checked Drecko farming and fertilization takes mealwood farming and dirt both is end game.
  19. I thought the changes would allow me to make dirt, but a sieve running at full speed can't even generate enough dirt to supply 10 mealwood farms. Having showers, lavatory, sinks and creating PW with the skimmer also doesn't even come close to generating enough PW to supply the sieve, so you run out of PW and generate even less dirt. Fertilizer that need dirt and PW just seems impossible. The Petro Generator makes 750 g/s PW and 500 g/s CO2 (Around 2 Kg/s PW?), but the sieve takes 5 Kilogram/s of PW to make polluted dirt. Leading me to thinking that I would need to run many generators without using the power to generate enough dirt for 10 mealwood farms and 1 fertilizer. If we deserve to get more polluted dirt out of the sieve, I hope it will be something like changing it to take 2500 g/s water to make 2500 g/s PW, but keep the rest the same.
  20. You're in the same boat as people that can't accept that electrolyzers output is 70C, because it transfer's the heat so quickly you can't tell it's outputting at that temp. Put an absylite enclosure (Doors transfer heat) around stuff to avoid the temperature transfer, then you will get to see the real temp of the output after it's run for a while. (assuming it doesn't block first because of pressure)
  21. What about polluted oxygen, it used to settle in bands inside the oxygen, made it an interesting challenge. The worst problem is going to be CO2, being able to put cleaning in the lower right allowed you to have a CO2 clean core base where dupes was breathing.
  22. Gas can move up, down, left, right. So reduced horizontal gas bias is less chance of it choosing to move left or right from it's current position. Maybe gas could get stuck and hydrogen didn't float to the top and CO2 to the bottom?
  23. I don't understand why your are having trouble with controlling where egg shells go, it's just a matter of creating a crusher with high priority that creates lime on continuous. My compost never receive any egg shells.
  24. Dupe picks up item to put in fridge. (white text is shown) Dupe move to fridge and animates putting item into fridge, but no white text is shown and the food returns to where the dupe picked it up. Seems related to berry sludge perhaps. Don't need to reload to "reset" the fridge, just toggle sweep only and the fridge works again.
