They didn't actually do any of that, and now that people have started to look closer the ramifications of what they've done has manifested. Sasza22 Posted March 24, 2019 Share Posted March 24, 2019 I think it`s a mass vs weight problem. While the weight is determined by gravity the mass is not. If you are measuring mass in a low gravity zone you have to use a properly scaled machine. It`s entirely possible that dupes have 30kg mass and can lift multiples of that in a low gravity zone. They would weight 30kg on earth if that was the case. If it`s actually their weight then other elements in the world should show their weight accordingly. We should probably try creating a solid refined metal tile by melting it and latting it solidify. Best in a large pool so we get the maximum metal per tile possible. Solid metal has known density. Based on that we could calculate the dimensions of a tile for sure or if the mass is actual mass or weight. Well actually water should work as well. Liquid is affected by gravity but ice is a crystal and always has the same density. If an ice itle is 916.7kg then it`s dimensions should be one cubic meter. Not affected by gravity. Now if it`s significantly lower like around 100kg then it`s weight and dupes would actually weight on 180kg earth. I don`t think that is the case though.
