JoeW Posted October 27, 2017 Share Posted October 27, 2017 Hello Everybody, This year's Hallowed Nights event will be coming Oct. 30th and will run through to the end of The Forge event in November. During that time a few new Hallowed nights skins and trinkets will be available and all commons drops earned in the regular game will become Forge Chests after The Forge Event begins. For some reason I thought they were exclusive to The Forge, I suppose because I’ve seen videos of the different selection screen, and because people seem to win things like emotes and background images and badges I don’t think would work in the main game. Forge beta, Hallowed Nights, The Forge... what could be better than this??? (Ok, well, Hamlet...) And that the common drops will be turned into Forge chests, seriously... that's better reward than anything else. Out of the forge, you will get 4 forge unlocks inside any chest. The announcement was more about the new item drop system that would be in The Forge that we are trying out, not that we are replacing the entire drop system. Also, during the Forge beta, time spent in the Forge counted towards the time it took to get your next drop in survival. I think you misunderstood it (but correct me if I'm wrong), but JoeW means that if you get a gift in a regular world (not in the Forge) and it would be a common skin, you get a Forge Treasure Chest instead. Last year they didn't release at the same time due to the certification process, and It's likely there will be a delay again thanks to said process.
