[guide] Stop food spoilage

Recommended Posts

Note that I'm still learning new things about the game, I just want to share you what I know.

This guide will only apply to Don't Starve Together: A new reign

In Don't Starve it is possible to have TOO MUCH food. Then the food will start to spoil and eventually rot.

However, not with bundling wraps, they will be your best friend because they completely stop food spoilage.

First, your character needs to learn how to make wax paper. So you will need to fight the bee queen.

To start a fight with the bee queen go find a massive beehive and hammer it. Then the fight will start.

It's recommended you bring a few friends with you and a beekeeper hat.

After that, she will drop honey, wax, and blueprints to make wax paper. However, the blueprint is not a 100% drop.

Wax paper will require one wax and 1 papyrus. Have some rope with you as that is required to make a bundling wrap.

Hover over your bundling wrap and there will be an option "wrap". This will take one rope, but you have four slots and you can put your food in there and click the button "wrap".

You will gain a bundle wrap and as long your food is in it. It will never rot!

I really hope this guide helped. Tell me your opinions and if I missed out on something. Cya

the bee queen is actually the only confirmed women giant, so advising the player to kill bee queen to get "bundling rap" is advising the player to kill woman

obviously you can see why this is a problem, especially when there are alternatives out there such as bee farms (honey takes a full season to spoil and you are supporting the bee woman workers instead of murdering them) and mandrakes (they are technically renewable because you can kill klaus every winter)

honestly i'm a little disgusted by this post and i think you should take into account my advice and self crit

thanks,

bird

and making cool stuff from them! what a horrible game

... and i always killing seal because i'm savage and because i want krampus sack

... and little sharks

So you can kill kids too, but it's optional

did you come to the forums exclusively to make threads about stuff everyone already knows

Making tutorial isn't exactly easy, starting with basics could be a good thing. Sure, here we know already how to obtain the bundling wrap, but maybe the author want to post this tutorial somewhere else too, and ask for advice. And future tutorial will probably be about more complex things.

If you play DST with PvP on and you kill Wendy or Webber, you're killing kids too.

it's too obvious to make guide, i think. If your guide is targeted on novices, better Make guide about killing bee queen, because 'bring some friends' advice is obvious team wipe for novice team

This isn't true really.

a 4/5 man(depends a bit on characters) with a hambat+bee keeper helms each can just hold f on her, she's a very easy boss if gangbanged.

Bring 3 Wolfgangs to your server.  Make sure they all want to be mighty all the time.  You'll never have to worry about food again.
