What else could giants have items for?

Technically speaking, this isn't a direct suggestion, but rather a topic to create discussion. Technically.

Back on topic, I always thought the Ancient Guardian's horn could have more uses. Renewable Ancient Guardian pls. The shape always reminded me of a cornucopia; maybe it could be shaped into one to store food in it? It's like a bundling wrap, but worse! It could give bonus perks when eaten out of, like the jellybeans do. Idk, it just really looks like a cornucopia to me.

I'd really like to see a lot more head gear but I want it to feel rarer than pig skin and rope or wigfrid's unicorn. Football helmets are stupidly ugly and crowns are inaccessibly expensive. I'd love a middle ground where I can have some boss drop helmets. Anything to get this damned football helmet off my head.

Also I feel like sunglasses need to be thing that helps you feel cool in summer.

Guardian= Sentry=Hound are not annoying=can spam this on every Toadstool spawn and Bee Queen=Its just OP

Yeah but you're acting like they won't attack the Houndius Shootius and forgetting that it would take A LOT of time to make enough Houndius to actually have a valid strat that works like this. If you're spending that much time, you might as well get something for it.

I've only ever made the Houndius in single player and it has always gotten killed.

Is regenerating  the Cave world a substitute for this?  It's a bit like having to explore all three different sets of caves and ruins in single player to get three horns. Maybe they should make it easier to do that?

Both work, sure, but a respawning Guardian has its charm since regenerating a world in DST can potentially be very wonky and is probably why there's no worldhopping.

Also 1 Houndius is nothing, 2 can do maybe something, 3 can do a few things, and from there they can actually do neat things. A single Guardian might as well not exist if it never respawns, since a single horn is nothing.

Some quality of life base items would be neato.

For example, we got too man damn drying racks in our base so a "Jumbo drying rack" made out of a bosses horns or such would be cool! It could hold more meats at once at maybe dry them faster.

Or! A box that cooks stuff inside it instantly like Packim Baggins from shipwrecked.. It could even make charcoal from wood and turn other stuff into ash! Make Klaus drop that instead of other bosses loot :>

A cornucopia kind of thing would be amazing. Maybe it can store up to 300 points of food and doesn't decay, but can only be given items that have no negatives such as sanity or health, and can only store the points of food.

I'd like to see a permanent spear/walking cane (but only 5-10% speed buff) mix with an insane crafting recipe. Guardian horn + walking cane + orange gem to turn it into an unfinished item that you can't yet use. then you place it on the moon pedestal and turn it into a permanent spear that double as a refuelable light source like a magiluminescence. Since you can only get 1, and the guardian is pretty difficult to solo in DST, I'd say it's worth the recipe and effort

Yes... and yes.... and si señor por favor.....

I actually suggested this first for the scaled furnace.... a new way of cooking food stacks is something that the game desperately needs

Bundling wraps do that already.... or what do you mean exactly?

Bundling wrap stores 4 item types. I'm talking about an item you click food on and the value of the item's hunger meter get's stored into the cornucopia. Let's say you pick up a few butterflies; you use it on the cornucopia and it stores the value of the hunger of the butterfly. And to use it, you just right click on the cornucopia and heals your hunger to full, or until it runs out of "charges" which is the amount of hunger you placed in it. Arguably, the bundling wrap can store more food. But, to do that, you have to open it, pick up everything, take what you need, then re-bundle it all over again.

edit: for clarification, it doesn't store the physical item but destroys it instead and just holds the value of the hunger that was placed inside of it.

I really enjoy this idea, would you mind if I used it for a mod?
