Still with the numbers in mind, Could it be a sequence of clicks? Well, maybe we need to localize the real number 6, and the others missing numbers. I saw a 5 and a 3, Maybe I'm getting crazy too.

If you ask me the numbers you guys keep pointing out are entirely coincidental. The only thing you are doing by pointing out random lines in the comic is making the devs laugh. I'm actually surprised that no one created illuminati memes on this comic...

When it comes to pointing out specific numbers in a bunch of drawings half the things in there could be mistaken as a part of the puzzle.

Just wait for the next panel I guess, if nothing advances further then start bringing out the crack pot theories.

Although you see...if the clues really were the numbers, then we'd have them shown more clearly. The 4 you see there could easily be a 7 flipped vertically

I'm genuinely starting to get frustrated; I don't if we're supposed to look at the comic, the game, or if there's actually nothing more to today's puzzle, and I definitely think there is more to today's puzzle.

Yeah I mean this was called phase 1 wasn't it? And they mentioned it was "solved"... but how many phases are there? When are they coming? I'm going to look closely at any future game updates... 

I'm also just paraphrasing snippets of conversations I've seen from the devs around here. I could be wrong, there very well may be more to the comic.

And I'm not sure I follow with these hidden numbers. I can randomly draw number 7 on the page and it would be as believable as these numbers being found in sketch lines.

Sadly I don't have anything productive to share at the moment that would help with regards to finding more clues with the new panels on the site or even solving it.

The fact that PeterA has basically told everyone to go back to solving this puzzle, (source) means there's enough in this current puzzle portion that was given to us today to at least solve a part of this phase. Maybe.

So upon closer inspection on the new last panels, the orb of light and smokestacks seemed off. Everyone up to this point has already brushed it off as a light coming from a fire pit or campfire. I did too at first. Then after more time was spent staring at it...

I realized that the orb of light and the smoke stacks are off center.

Sorry if the crappy mock-up isn't up to par. 

Anyhow, in DS light is very important and any form of light forms a circle. A light's center would always be the source of light, which is why we all think/thought this orb of light is from a fire pit/campfire in the first panel we see the orb of light.

But then on the last panel it's slightly even more farther from the center of the orb of light than the first?

This could mean multiple things.

Speculation: The smokestack and the orb of light are from two separate sources.

Conjecture 1: The Orb of light is stationary and comes from something else, while the smokestack is from someone's torch. Who is probably moving away from the center of the light. (They could very well be fighting or running away from hounds like Maxwell did near the start of the comic.)

If that someone is Willow, the orb of light could probably be from a forest fire she started from very far away and now she's moving towards Maxwells direction running from hounds. Though her lighter doesn't produce smoke at all, she could be carrying a torch.

Remember the new skins that was added in the Update today? One of the new stuff that was added were also Shadow Skins for Torches aside from the Shadow Skin Variants for the characters.

Which made me think of torches for this conjecture.

Conjecture 2: The sources of the smokestacks and the orb of light are the same and it's only our perspective of the scene that changed. Notice in the first panel I showed above, the camera (our pov) is just behind Maxwell's shoulder. Then the next panel, Maxwell is a few steps away from the camera (our pov) and closer to the light. Plus the bend in the horizon could be what's causing the visual alignment of both the smokestacks and the light orb to seem off. Maybe.

Sadly, that's all I have at the moment. I hope this at least would spark some ideas in some of you to try ideas you may not have thought of yet. Good luck...to all of us.
