She was unconcious. "There there..." she said, embracing her son "there's no need to cry. Everything will be alright" "It...it's been so long" Otto said through his tears "I... I never thought I'd see you again" "Oh Otto... I never left your side" she lifted Otto's gaze to hers. Otto saw a face he thought he'd never see again. Eyes so full of reassurance. "I will always be with you... in here" she placed a hand on Otto chest. She smiled at him before they hugged again. "I see you kept your promise" "I did... it wasn't easy at first though" "I know... which reminds me, what are you doing now?" "Well I'm currently with a group of people sailing the seven seas!" "Heh so I guess your a pirate now aye? Your father always said you would make a good pirate" she pulled out a pirate hat and placed it on his head "Here... you said you lost it right?" Otto felt the hat on his head as his eyes light up. "So what have you and your scurvy little crew been doing?" "Well we were fighting this giant see monster-serpant-dolphin thingy!" His mother chucked a bit "You were always the imaginative one. Coming up with all sorts of monsters in your pirate adventures" "No but it was really real! There was this big yellow one and it was fighting-" then Otto remembered what had just happened. "It... charged right at me and... I... I blacked out!" "So Otto? Are you gonna go back and save your friends? And live on?" "I have to" "Good boy" Then his mother fazed out and everything started fading to black. "W-what's happening?!" Then he fell. (TL;DR, Otto saw his mother in his subconscious, some emotional stuff and Otto remembering where he is right now) Otto's eyes shot open. He was underwater. She swam up and resurfaced, coughing and hacking. Then he looked around. Where was Malii and the other monster? He dived again. Malii appeared to be unconscious. Otto swam down and tried to wake her up. He attempted to shake her awake. C'mon wake up dammit! Then he tried to bring her back up to the surface but it was no use. He swam back up to the surface and shouted out to the crew. "Hey! He didn't want to fall in the water; this thing could probably kill him by simply swimming over him. LiptonPee Posted July 27, 2016 Share Posted July 27, 2016 (I can't rp every single day, I have real hobbies...) Kulta took Meri into the kelp for a good while, unknowing of his presence. He could see the route she took circling around the clearing, watching Malii and the ship with concerning interest. Through the thick wall of greenery, other tursai could be seen for moments in-between the hundreds of layers of kelp. They seemed to be avoiding the clear waters and overall minding their own business. She slowed to a stop, turning her nose to the ship and almost throwing him off again as she surprised him with the sudden movement. She squirmed a little when the spot Viridis hit her stung and throbbed. It was like an ant bite. Then, as Malii regained herself, her echolocation quickly picked up her muttering.
