Tomer8009 Posted August 18, 2014 Share Posted August 18, 2014 there were allot of things the characters said that made me laugh, but I think the biggest one would be that maxwell will allways say say pal, ive laughed way too much when I saw him appearing like he appears in the later stages of the adventure mode, and keeps saying "say pal" each and each time. Lacost Posted August 18, 2014 Share Posted August 18, 2014 I once attacked a Slurper to get the slurper belt but I didn't know that his special ability was to kick off my mining helmet. If this wasn't bad enough some stupid Splumonkeys gathered around me and of course one of these little basterds had nothing better to do than stealing it from the floor. He equiped the helmet and ran off of me. So I ended up with no light in the middle of the ruins, chasing down the only lightsource available on the head of a Splumonkey and being chased by a Slurper and a bunch of angry poop-throwing monkeys. This was the weirdest and most funny moment in Don't Starve so far. Mobbstar Posted August 18, 2014 Share Posted August 18, 2014 There is no such thing as fun in bare harsh survival.Although it is quite ridiclious when you get the deerclops to fight an ent and he wins, so you run away in panic and unintentionally lure him into a spider den. I managed to kill the last little bugger before he could eat the eyeball. This was also before the update that stopped fires that were far away from you. Needless to say my whole world was pretty much scorched earth after a couple minutes. Also the first time I saw a beefalo in heat murder a butterfly. and then stand by the flower it spawned from and continue to murder butterflies. yeah. you go, beefalo. murder those butterflies. I was in a forest as Wilson, with a plan to kill the spider queen ruling the area. My incredible plan was to light gunpowder one at a time while she was following me so she would slowly but surely perish. I light my first gunpowder and the very thick forest I was standing in the middle of lit up too. I didn't care about anything else but escaping the fire. My game was down to like 5 FPS. I ran past the other 2 Tier 3 spider nests in that forest, and soon I had Spiders and a fire nipping at my heels. Roasted Wilson with a side of spider eggs was for breakfast tomorrow morning. But I defied the odds. The spiders lost aggro and I emerged from the trees with just enough health. One more second on fire and that would've been my end. I was laughing out of pure excitement all the way back to base. Oh yeah, and "I made them with my face." That always makes me chuckle. A bearger spawned. Then the Varg got a great idea to go bite his foot. Bearger didn't take too kindly. needless to say, Hounds teeth and monster meat for years to come! Also the Varg managed to kill him with his brigade of hounds, but it took 1 toss of my boomerang and he decayed into flower fertalizer. Palpetinus Posted August 19, 2014 Share Posted August 19, 2014 Probably that one time I was Webber and made two Spider Queens attack a rock lobster.My ears hate me for that but it was rather hilarious having a big ball of fuzz around a rock. Of course after a while the queens settled down, but the spiders continued hitting the lobster, now they are a national landmark of deafening in my world.
