UbiAnomaly
Wes has a voice now? Well technically. Wes' Ghost has a voice, and only a text one. When playing as Wes, or any character, you can click and hold an object to constantly haunt it. This will cause the signature "OOOOH? OOH!" to pop up above the player's head, even while playing as Was, who has no "OOH" text normally. This is kind of a useless post but it seems to be a bug. I'm not sure where to put this in terms of categories, so sorry about that.

Theukon-dos
to be fair, there's no real reason to be mute when they're unhindered by most things that would cause someone to be mute. IE broken vocal cords

Tranoze
There a different between the Silent and the Mute. Maybe he have the ability to talk all along.
CaptainChaotica
Yeah I always figured his not talking was by CHOICE to stay in character, not out of physical necessity. Like Wigfrid and vegetables. She _could_ eat her broccoli, the big baby. She just doesn't want to. : P ...Notorious
WhackE
here's my theory as to why Wes can't talk, I know this might sound a little wild and crazy, BUT, I think it's because he's a mime.

Roughly translated it goes a bit like "Whoever doesn't eat their veggies won't grow big and strong, won't have pink cheeks, won't be unbeatable". Somehow she ended up being all of these without doing the initial effort (don't let the children know!)
Fridgetty
In wortox's Short in around 0:31, when krampus popped wes's balloons, you could hear a slide whistle as his sigh. Many had pointed it out so yes, wes does have a voice
