Oldest World?

I'm curious, so post your oldest world here, and include a picture for proof. I want to see what the oldest world is. Mine is 1200+, but I already know that's beaten.

if its the day count then I got a little bit over you on a now removed world.

if it's the date the world was created on well.... idk noone can tell that for sure since worlds dont carry a big date thing on the save files

But I'm pretty sure @NSAiswatchingus has the Hamton? world with 5000? days

IIRC There was a DST dedicated server that had gone over 20k days.

It's only up to 4140 something right now. I know there's a 11k+ world owned by @Mano Til on PS4 and I believe @Marco BR has a pretty long standing world too.

A friend of mine have a 15 000+ days world as far I know. The name's Frodeur, a french DST streamer.

Here's a pretty recent screenshot of he's world. Clearly that's one of the eldest world too, he started even before A New Reign but updated the map all the time, no mod server (exept a very dumb one I've made for him)

Computer worlds can easily be cheated, so I don't believe them.  I play on Playstation 4 and my world is the oldest of the platform.

It's a long standing joke on the console side of the forums that EVERYTHING on PC is cheats and mods to make us feel better about having neither.

Because I can't run a server with caves (and doing a long, dedicated run w/o caves is insufferable), Im forced to do solo runs in Singleplayer.

My longest day-count world is 387, or something along those lines. I haven't touched this save in like a year and a half.

 

However, I have a save thats on world 3, and it's a bit more long-winded to explain. 

First World, I was Webber. Here, I merged the world with a SW save, that had 100 days on it as Wilbur. Wilbur dies (rip) as Webber enters the world. I then cease all of the coffee bushes (40+) Survived 100 days before yeeting myself into the teleportato, because I set up base in a really bad spot (constantly harassed by frogs or pengulls)

Second World, I was Maxwell. It was nice to finally face a challenge for once, in the form of low HP. Survived another 100 days, got bored.

Third World, Im WX again. Here, I start to build an actual megabase, and I was pretty successful in doing so. It's currently day 150-ish.

 

I want to point out that I stopped playing this save right before the Hamlet beta went public.

Maybe I should return to it...

I usually play with my friend on his server and it’s on like 3000 days. Mine personally is just around 300-400 days.

Well, mine isn't even ONE thousand, so... : P  But screw it.  It's my good ol' "Camp One-Foot-in-the-Grave"!  Started on standard, went through the A New Reign beta, safely moved back onto the main branch after beta _became_ that...and then went squish when a new change to the code, I think from the Forge 1.0? broke a (aesthetic) mod I was using.

Made it to Day 613 but I think the latest picture I have is the Day 600 celebratory screenshot. 

I don't think I even took a picture of when it glitched, because it didn't look as dramatic as when it happened with my March of Civilization Challenge one.  (In that case, "Day 387" or something like that suddenly said "Day ONE".  In the other one's case, it still _said_ "Day 613", I just couldn't load it anymore.) 

I wish I had taken a picture of the sign that Wilson there made--I had this weird custom of every time I hit a new (to me) 100-day marker, somebody would make a sign to celebrate it.  Usually NOT me, so we ended up with an interesting mix of writing styles/personalities.  They included "300 day,,,yay,,fun" (that one was by a non-native-English speaker) "The Day 400 Commemorative Pie" (which immediately got eaten by a rabbit) and "Day 500!  Take THAT, forces of evil!"  (that one was me).  The 600 one said something like:

"I was here on the night of day 599 and it is now day 600 so I am the best around and nobody's gonna keep m--"

This is a computer world, so believe what you want but _I_ know I got here fair and square.  : P  Camp One-Foot-in-the-Grave is also the server on which some of my most-memorable Don't Starve Together...memories, happened, such as:

1.  Leaving the Bearger alive for years and years just calmly wandering the forest and acting as a dog-deterrent whenever I was in the area.

2.  When I got my very first kitty!  It involved a trek past dog spawners AND the Dragonfly, in the desert, at night, and took over 3 days to get to the rock den (since it had to be placed into an already-made world.  In this case VERY already-made; it was over 400 days old) and 3 days back. My first pet's first meal was cooked cactus.   

3. That time I accidentally set the Dragonfly on the Deerclops without even planning it.  : P

So yeah.  There you go.  Only 613 days but with MY playing skills, that isn't too bad.  Heh.

Assuming i've streamed 90% of my playtime ( lot a my viewers can confirm this , and i'm not rich enougth to paid them all to lie ) Ican be " trusted " .
Even if I don't brag about my playtime , I ALWAYS say in stream that the " Feat of strength " of my world is only the dedication and finding a way to not being bored . But yeah I'm not at 15K .... Boredness caugth me up

I've always been Crystal clear on my " cheat " .

I use C_skip once because I lost 800 day of progress because of a power issue at my house during a thunderstorm ( my worlld reverted back to day one ) . Yeah I played 800 day without manual save .....

And I rollbacked Twice ( once because I didn't hear deerclop coming , RIGTH AFTER I finished my goat pens , deerclop destroyed everything , Was 3 AM , yeah .... **** this it's 3 AM , rollback time .

DISCLAIMER TIME

I don't have any hate toward console player , I .... in fact kinda admire them , I played only ONCE , with a controler on a fresh map , died day 4 because I was to slow to pull out my torch .
( And killled klaus ONCE on my world with a controler , but the " backward turning char " glitch was a real PITA .) 

So yeah people , chill don't make any argument or more post about " Console VS PC  , Can the PC player can be trusted ? " that not the topic .

Don't feel ashamed about your world , post it even if it's only day 1000 , All those " Megaworld " once were at this daycount ... ( My day 1000 was the 5 april 2017 )

Okay I have to admit I chuckled at the houndious mishap. I can definitely understand the rollback there : P

I usually only rollback/need client console in the event something occurs to the world that prevents me from playing in a specific area or the game simply cannot load. There used to be an issue where having too many things loaded would cause a client crash, and I ended up having to rollback once while also needing to run a few client (essentially using only local, and not remote) console commands to hide specific items so I could pick up the loot from 120+ shadow knights (which granted, was completely overkill, but I really wanted to get the most out of it). It was a magical time, for sure.

Anyhow, onto the topic, I don’t have anything too special that wasn’t mentioned. As for my furthest I’ve gotten, I’m currently working on a 2900+ world that started in the beta of turn of tides, and I’m enjoying the progress so far and encountering the obstacles of making it to very endgame DST.
