when was the height of oxygen not included?

Once they did  ranching/tubular (I don't remember which came last) I felt like the game could be considered complete, except there were too many placeholders for expressive.  So I guess If they had added expressive right after after tubular and ranching. I would have happily paid for automation and expressive and rocketry as a paid expansion pack.  My only complaint would have been that I need something to do with all this chlorine, like a way to turn it back into bleach-stone.

They keep pouring value and interesting content into this game!

what was the best update?

Isn`t this one the best? We have the most stuff to play with. Why is everybody so negative about the future?

I think the devs are trying to rush some end game so we get a way to win the game before they start cleaning up the stuff from earlier upgrades. Honestly i`d prefer if they finished the base of the game but it`s still pretty exciting.

frankly, as this game has now worked out as costing me < 0.004 pence per hour i think it's all great!. I actually didn't /don't care much for the automation, but that's fine, no-one forces me to use it. I have a great amount of respect and admiration for the folk at Klei and I thoroughly enjoy every one of their games. This just happens to be my favourite. Keep doing what you do Klei.

Automation update. It's been downhill since.

I've seen you mention this a lot.  Can you clarify what exactly you dislike?  I understand that maybe they've not taken the game in the direction you wanted, but have they actually hampered the aspects you enjoy?

Uhh...can't you do that with squeaky pufts already?? they suuk chlorine gas and poop bleach stone in 50% of the mass they suuk in.

I do not like ranching ( too small outputs, too much micro IMHO ), Im an industry/tech/science/emergency-problem-solving/mass production/trading/shipping/logistics/chemistry reactions/physics/space/atomic-desaster-cleanup/large scale extravaganza/prepper or just-in-time delivery guy which plays with dozen of dupes which have the same name in the game. Nonetheless I can care for individual dupe issues every now and then, like moving them industrial style automated to the cemetery. :D

Space Shuttle launching or exploding due to my fault ( like cheap parts, bad material choices,  not in time combination of the right things, my own bad design, like wrong fuel loading or wrong cooling/heating of fluids or gas etc. ), building modular systems consisting of lots of parts and materials which depend on each other...Thats my style :)

It like that ONI throws in parts and functions in updates which can cater for anyones preferred play style.

Personally I would like to see more desasters which players cause by bad designs, wrong material choices, bad logistics, dangers and critical situations because no backup solution has been planned in etc.

Im hoping for an update which brings sparks, fire, combustion, fire fighting, hazard material reactions etc.

The two ranching updates where a time of no new content for me - But thats me.

agricultural upgrade felt the best to me. the days of messing around with hydrogen bubblers and everyone was so hyped about the natural gas sytem and the new plants. i was dissapointed with the lack of content in tubular and expressive. oil upgradde had lots of good stuff but felt quite buggy to me. automation came out too early in my opinion as they gave us a bunch of cool tools to use but not much we could do with them.
