pedregales Posted June 9, 2018 Share Posted June 9, 2018 Well, if we are guessing "specialities", we first have to see the "jobs" that could be done: Farming / Harvesting. I am going to guess that Wolfgang is going to be among the best farmers considering his quotes. Also Winona because she is a hard-worker, and WX-78 as they are a robot. Maybe Woodie for his connection with trees, and Wilson for his connection with life will be better than average. I am going to guess "physically weak" characters are not going to be very efficient in this task, but maybe Wickerbottom is an exception considering her Horticulture book (or maybe she can can get higher quality ingredients for less efficiency). We don't know if there will be animal farms, but is likely meat will have to be bought? Cooking. Willow likely cooks faster than average, Wickerbottom likely cooks higher quality considering her fine palate (maybe Wes too since he is french?). Wigfrid might have specialty with meats, and Webber with monster food? Considering Woodie eats wood, he probably will not do well in this task, but there is cutting involved and Lucy might do him a favor? Maybe this task could easily be divided in other minor tasks? Shopping. Sounds weird to have perks for this, but maybe you can get discounts or offers with certain characters? In this case Wilson, and Maxwell might have more buying options, while Wigfrid might get discounts for meat and Winona for tools (like the crock pot, and farming tools), Webber might have trouble buying except with special sellers, and Wes might not be able to buy at all (cannot talk). Serving. In this case dapperness will play a role, so naturally dapper characters will be the best waiters: Maxwell comes to mind, but Wickerbottom was shown in the trailer. Other characters that might get bonus points for this are Wilson, Wendy, and Wes. Also Woodie considering his "Celebrates Thanksgiving too early" perk. Winona on the other hand might get negative points here considering her PoV on etiquette and "classy" things. But there is just so much we don't know yet. As it apparently is a 3-player mode, but also seems to be more open world than the last event considering the key Wilson takes from the Boar-man, so 3 might just be the minimum amount of players. EDIT: forget the last part, apparently it indeed is a 3-player group event.
