  1. These are some of the ideas for the shop-keepers they originally wanted to add, huh? It was quite interesting to read about them, and I really like seeing them drawn and even more, how well you depicted them.
  2.    I like how you added a 'headless' one, I don't remember the original concept but either way it's definitely a neat option to go with.
  3. Klei never added them, I can see how it might interfere with the game play and difficulty if they did..   But maybe that's why they're making Hamlet. Finally fulfilling those shop-keeper dreams they had all along.
  1. I've drawn the main one several times before:

  2. The headless one is from another property. Cirque Du Soliel's Quidam. The character is Quidam.
  3. Piglady shopkeeper:Dont-Starve-Hamlet.jpg

Varglings doing what doggos love to do: pointless fighting and gooding off. PRimeape's just watching in confusion. I'm more of a cat person but I feel kittykit and Varglings would love the monkeyball just as much as the monkeys. I've drawn one with a kittykit but haven't colored yet. This just gave me a chance to draw the supermonkeyball.

Ahh, thanks for pulling these up again, they must be somewhere in the middle of all these 50 pages. ^^'
The ticket border is a nice touch on these.

And yes, I saw that piglady shop-keeper. First time seeing a pig we could look at and call a piglady instead of a pigman, it seems. Hamlet seems like it will be quite unique. I wonder if not-starving will be less reliant on wild determination with this new addition? It looks like we can buy food pretty obviously.

  2. I'm basically using the scrapbook frame nowadays for comics, while colored art is now left alone. Donke wanted me to color my art now so I have to add more effort to my art.
  3. I would love to see a bartering system added. If Griftlands is a experiment to Klei, they might be borrowing some mechanics from their other game into this DLC. We'll just have to wait and see.

Return of Webber McDuck and his triplettes. As a kid, I connected with Donald and Daffy duck as a kid, so the character I main can be Donald(though he'd probably be better as Gyro Gearloose. Somehow @LiptonPee got a cameo as Debby.:wilson_sneaky:

This is a reference to the 2017 opening.

That's not bad. That's what we're here for, isn't it?

I'm wondering how it will effect the game-play. I saw some new creatures in the teaser thing, so perhaps it comes with new challenge, and I have hope that they'll somehow preserve the wild edge to the game's normal survival challenges, even as it appears there is a more civilized environment in development.
I have a lot of trust for Klei, the changes and such they have made have always been good from my perspective. I mean, well, if you can call the pools of lava and the dragonfly who tries to murder us all  in DST, 'Good?' Maybe I should say, "I trust Klei, the changes and such they have made have always been pleasingly murderous from my perspective."
(However, I am aware not everything they've done is like that. Like the introduction of pets and vanity items long ago.)

This is pretty neat, and strangely fitting to Wickerbottom for some reason... It just feels like it is.

The toga is a nice skin. I got it a long time ago and was pretty happy when I did, since I like more ancient sorts of things - Weapons and armors sorts. Forge attire made me happy.

Maybe my love of medieval-y-things and anything not-gun (I like Skyrim a lot too, in addition to this game) is another reason why I went towards Wigfrid so much.

But if I might say - I understand things can be hard sometimes, and art can be something we turn to in times of stress. Art can only be called 'over-working' if it's work, though, I think. If it's escape, well, then, please, escape through the healthy means that is art and drawing - Drawing is a very healthy way of coping with emotions. If in troubled times, and drawing is what you do when troubled, it's probably very good for you to draw.
At least you have the time to sit down and draw, for however scarce it may be, so that's good.

I would encourage you to draw as much as you wish and, if it be so, then as much as you can. The stuff you do is good, and I personally don't see anything wrong with it. I'm not observing anything unhealthy here.

IT's fine you're asking. I use art to get my ideas out of my head since I really want to see the idea in completion since when I say stuff, it doesn't come out right compared to how I draw it. So thanks for asking. People at home want me to socialize more but I want to be left alone. IT's hard to work around people. :wilson_dorky:

Another one to cross off the todo list. My take on DS and Ib as they run away from the enemies that scared me most in the game. Those ladies really creep me out.

With the way I have Wilson and Abigail teaming up, they're more together than how other people draw Wilson and Wendy teaming up. I also threw the combo due to Ib and Gary's relationship being similar.

That's kinda why I draw too. I want people to see what I see, or saw. What I imagined. And it just never comes out right without drawing it, I agree. It's even more frustrating when we're just starting out, and our skills in art can't keep up with our imagination.

I'm not the person who drew this, this belongs to 'JoJoesArt' on DA, but they have explained the idea very well with this little bit.
why__by_jojoesart-dc461bs.jpg

I am a mixture though.  If I get lonely enough I can't draw, I'll get impatient and look for company. I do this weird swapping back and forth. I'm an extrovert, so a simplified explanation of that would be, 'People tend to energize me instead of exhaust me.' It's like - I look for energy and then once I've got some I go sit down and draw.
...Part of why I talk so much here, maybe.

May's drawing from the Forge stream hasn't been uploaded yet but I finished mine. I quickly scribbled from what May drew and then fine tuned my drawing. Wilson should've been going for that healer's garland but the helmet looks cool anyways.

This is an amusing reminder of Forge, to add real quick.

If you guys are not aware, the snail trinket during Hallowed Nights is a easter egg for upcoming Klei game Griftlands. As part of the @jouste fanclub, I want Griftlands to be a success. Though seeing the Oshnus so far, they feel like the beefalos of that game. Giant cuddle snails of burden.

So I like debugging about 80 or more and putting them in my Chester that I call "Poop Caboose".

Wanted to draw my refs of the Wilson house mod, the unused wheat files, and the bottle hallowed nights trinket. Something of a relaxed mood. Kind of perfect since today was a hot day. Though if I realized that orange soda was a thing in the game at the time, I would've drawn him drinking from the can.

Mooslings are always so difficult... I find them more tricky than the mother Goose herself, in a sense. Faster to kill, but they feel much more tedious.

The lighting and colors are pretty neat, though, and you got the expression on the moosling just right too.

Pretty sure that single frog is probably done-for.
