I get you meant this as a joke, but it's actually a thing. It's from the beta.

Also, back in DS' early days, before mobs faded away instantly, their corpses would be let behind and litter the ground for a while, You could imagine them then, too.
Mob corpse despawning has changed a LOT since then!

It might spoil the magic a bit but I actually intentionally chose the least fitting elements for each lol:

Candy is themed after food, and sweetness to the point of total pacifism, perfect for the Gorge's cooking and lack of any combat! So I put The Forge there.
Ice is themed after cold and sadness, almost depression at times, which could be loosely thematically linked to the hypothetical "The Scourge" event that people speculated would be about sanity. So i put the Gorge there.
Fire is themed after, well, fire, and senseless violence. Basically constant fighting. Sounds like The Forge! So I put The Scourge there.
Slime is themed after chill vibes, having fun, and going with the flow. Unfortunately, "The Bugorge" isn't real,
