Yeah I believe this doesn't show up until a Survivor collection item actually appears on the market.

Just when you thought Panflutes weren't balanced enough. Now in PVP, whoever rushes the mandrake biome first pretty much wins, it's not even a competition. Also the book change was awful! Someone got STS day 1 by having a ghost companion

With the Mandrakes we have now the option to craft Panflutes, the first person that gets to the Mandrake biom will pretty much destroy all other players on a PVP server now. (I don't play on PVP servers, but many people do as it seems)

Wearing Rabbit Earmuffs should make you immune to the Panflute and Sleepytime Storys in my opinion. (but not to sleep darts)

That would buff the Earmuffs (and sleep darts) in a natural way

and would make PVP a considerable amount more enjoyable for every character...except Wickerbottom I guess.

Please consider that suggestion Peter or tell it the person that implemented the little Meep! boys and girls.  ^__^

I feel like this should be "We want to go home."

Maybe there's a conflict of interests between his human half and his spider half? I'd imagine, a spider would have a blast running around the wilderness, while a boy would want to return to civilization when things get too hard.

Yet their minds have fused, haven't they?

But they still have some different thoughts about things, as some of their quotes show us...

Poor Webber...his mind is constantly fighting between human and monster

@Dara999 Our Webber specialist should tell us her thoughts on the matter

Unless the spider... doesn't want to go? 0-0

I hadn't even thought of that.  : O

Or the boy could just be so used to the dismal, hopelessness of being trapped inside a spider that he doesn't mind living the survivor life.

The spider could want to go home to its den, as they are wont to do.

I can't say I've been on a pvp server anytime recently, but is there not also sleep effect for the person who eats the mandrake in DST? Because that would be the easiest and simplest balance there (and would put a risk/reward on top of it if someone is outside the range of the effect)

Looking at the survivor skin I can see the two being more closely knit. Looking at his quotes it's a state of symbiosis. You help me, I help you. And over time they would work as a single organism. Perhaps Webber would slightly loose himself at times of extreme emotion.

Say if he was scared, the spider would take over. If he was with some of the others, in his spider frenzy he might not recognise them straight away. Idk.

He'd feel terrible if he hurt anyone.

He'd probably spend more time at the dens if he felt ignored or something.

So, female anglerfish are the big ones with lights on their head, and male anglerfish are small with no light. Is Hutch a girl?

In the real world hutch would be! Cuz the males are tiny and parasitic.

Not sure if this is the updates fault but i played a default server and Beardlords were very buggy, dropping regular bunnyman loot, randomly hopping and sleeping during day. Also for some reason, they only transform when i go under 15% sanity, not the normal 40%. Has anyone else had the same issue?

(I have other screens)

Maybe he doesnt want to be in the spider.

Webber and the spider are one, so that's not really plausible. And his original body has fused with the spider instead of being digested. Also, they are in a state of symbiosis.

Unless...

the "I" stands for the fact that they eventually became one. Not two organisms in symbiosis, but one, with one mind winning over the other. But which mind won? If it's the spider, the home is the den; if it's the human, the home is the real world.
