Guess on the coming 'Trade INN'

Why not just let us 'spend' 2 items but guarantee we don't get the items used to roll. And add a percentage bonus to the rng for using higher tier items. So 2 common items would be the same as opening a new gift. 1 common plus 1 classy would give us a slight bonus which would increase our chance of getting a higher tiered item. We could still end up with another common item, but it definitely won't be either of the two items we just 'spent'.

Maybe you can only select skins that you have a duplicate of and trade "inn" like 5 duplicate skins for a reroll- you could get any skin back, common or whatever, but it wouldn't be a duplicate.

Phew what a read, yes please dont make them marketable , last thing we want is for Klei devs to get more money  from my favorite game every day from steam market fee's /SARCASM. (im kidding Klei devs!) i have no care if they do or dont, i have no issue sourcing every single skin i want off market from trading.

I hope Trade-iin is a chance based system, but more then anything i just hope its well thought through.

 

Could there be items you can ONLY get from crafting? as in cant be dropped/unwrapped?

theres a load more items that can be introduced to suit each persons preferences

- trade inn needs to keep rarity of items and not spam us with rare/rarest items

- i am suggesting that you can trade one (maybe two max) item per week for "new drop" and that new drop works/have same chance as drops you get in game ... sounds reasonable right? This way you can get new items for your doubles and actually have some chance to get something rare!

 

I'm totally okay with player to player trading getting x'd out. I've found a lot of people to be incredibly greedy, or just completely unwilling to part with items for anything of lesser value. All I want are items that I will actually use in game, what other people have doesn't affect me. I want to have fun and enjoy the items I collect. If the Trade Inn will allow me to get rid of the ridiculous number of dupes I have and get items I really want to use on characters I play, then great! Trading and having to haggle with people has already gotten old anyway.

If you don't like trading or you have greedy friends doesn't mean trading should be x'd out because of you. From i can see people enjoy trading and some people that doesn't care about those items getting even $$ for their FREE items so they can use it to buy SW for example or other games so it goes back to developers.

 

And no trading doesn't got old ... maybe just for you. Also i bet you want Wigfrid GOH + armor ... don't tell me that you can't trade that with your backpacks for example? You already have more elegant items than 99% of players!

 

Also you have ENORMOUS inventory and there is nothing that you can "actually" use in game? Sorry but seems to me that you are greedy. How about get some of your 23904732 dupe commons from bad trades to new players? You don't care about those items as we can see and new players will be really happy to have 1 shirt and 1 pants to wear until they get something from game. I know because i did this couple times!

WOW thanks for searching me and making all this effort Posting my inventory is little low but anyway your point is? As Derpy said i am holding some of his stuff but whatever i am not crying about having only few elegants .... she has the same amount or more elegants than my and FYI i wanted to trade with her and change her dupes ... i could probably change all her dupes but she has something personal against me because i mention that posting other people names (and inventories) is so low

 

I know people that have 20 elegant items and tons of pink items too and they are not promoting anything anywhere. They also have 32089473210 dupes but did you see them posting here? I know that lot of them are giving items for free to new players whatever it is common or elegant. She doesn't like trading and i do so i trade a lot. She should get items for free because she has few dupes? How many elegants you have XERO tell me plz ... ask my friends i already give some of them red/pink/purple items because it will make them happy and my life is not about skins and friendship is more important to me than getting few more heads. Those skins suck anyway and you want them only because they are rare

 

About Trade INN:

- i would be cool if i can change one item for new drop once/twice a week. I think this is WIN-WIN

- this could be like "trading with Klei"? There will be all items that are in game and Klei will set prices for those items (like 4commons for 1 classy or 4 distinguished for 1 elegant) which will deal with bigger problem that everybody wants Wigfrid head and since there are only few around people get crazy and offer 20-30$ for free skin

Have you considered, by chance, that he wants them because he actually likes how they look? And the fact they are rare and most people don't want to trade them except for unbelievable amounts of items only makes it harder for one to get them.

 

I agree, posting your inventory wasn't that right, but he was annoyed by the fact you had called Exhu greedy when, by his eyes, you were the greedy one.

 

You already explained your position and what you do with these items, and I find it really nice of you to give your skins away to friends for them to have fun! So now let's drop this argument and go back on-topic, because arguing is just not what we came to do here, eh? Also, he might've done that because your reply to Exhu was kind of rude, at least to me, it sounded like that.

 

Trade INN: A trade center where you can trade your items with other people AND just exchange your duplicates for other skins of same/similar value in the game itself, and not with other people. Seems like this'd work-out perfectly. At least to me

i buy items, at a low price and usually from friends.

 

if someone else has an item i want, i offer, if they decline, its all good, ill have it within next 1 - 2 weeks anyway.

I do not give items away (i have given a few to a friend, and i let my kids use them, but other then that, no.)

 

ive only known t0panka for a couple of weeks but has always been polite to me, but he shouldnt be calling others greedy (bad boy t0panka!).
Im GREEDY purely when it comes to these skins, i actively play and i want them ALL. im keeping my dupes stockpiled to see what Trade-inn can offer....

TF2 (yes, I know) has a system for their weapon skins. You can "trade up" by sacrificing several items of one rarity to get an item of a higher rarity. Maybe it will be like that.
