Yep, guess so. Was there a particular plan for this other than removing "troll" characters? Is it dynamic (e.g. can you use it to make it so that once a character is selected, nobody else can choose it?). It doesn't look like it has a way to add them back, though, but I suppose you could do that manually.

 

 

I do kinda hope that a "highlander" option is added where there can only be one of any character. Obviously it is susceptible to abuse on public servers but who doesn't expect rampant trolling abuse on public servers anyways; I could see this being nice on private servers.

That would be a little disappointing but I guess he would tie into adventure mode?

Since the bonesaw emote gives you a (I'm guessing a wooden) saw out of nowhere, don't you think it would be better if Wes would hold out a sign with the written text when saying something instead of the text appearing over his head while he's doing a random animation? So if a player says something quite short or up to half long text of what can be written in one space, Wes would hold out a sign with one hand and if the text is longer, he'd hold out a sign the size of which he'd need to use both hands to show the text. How does that sound?

Remember, Maxwell doesn't control the world of Together, Wilson does.

How would you know that? May be someone/something else does! For all we know Wilson is out of the portal since Crows don't appear in nightmare throne's world (checkmate) because of the eternal night. And we also seethe Jury Rigged portal OUTSIDE of that world (in the sandbox world), so how would this make sense?

That moment when you get a reply about the mega nerfed character from a biased person who thinks "Wes is love Wes is life" just because they feel so pro when are able to play normally with stats being rubbish.

It will be impossible until there will be only few friends capable to join the server.

 

Because:

1) Someone join server as Wilson.

2) After that he logout.

3) Someone else join as Wilson (there is no Wilson atm).

4) First player is back as Wilson.

5) Two Wilsons on the server.

It seems that for private servers (password protected and/or friends only) this wouldn't be a problem, ei?

Though, one thing to note; since emotes are coming on our way, there might be no point. Although I'd love to have one character of each kind on my server so that maximum variety for better strategy and less game logic would be in place :)

@Maris, Of course, I don't think anyone thought such a system would be a good idea for public servers.

 

For private/niche servers, though, it would definitely work to just have it not free up a character when someone leaves. It might make sense to have it free up the slot if they die in Wilderness mode, for example, though.

There is variable _seasonLimit in penguinspawner.lua:

In the beginning it is set to zero.

 

Then it can be increased:

But there is no code which decreases this variable or set to another value! So once it reached the limit, it will never drop to zero.

 

​The same story happens with _totalBirds and _colonies. Fix it please. I didn't see penguins for a long time.
