What's The Stupidest Way You've Died!

Hey so this thread is discussing the moronic ways of all of your deaths! For me playing as Wilson it was around day 16 and I was hunting down a Koalefant and when I finally reached it and attacked it I forgot to put on my log armor... I look forward to seeing your idiotic downfalls!

Well, dying from accidently eating monster meat is probably the stupidest way I have died...

I was running through a swamp with only sanity-increasing items and a walking cane, thus being too fast for any tentacle to hit me. That was, until I encountered some web-ground and got ultra-combo'd by a heap of spiders and a tentacle. That made me pretty mad too :I

Using boomerang for the first time while low on health was a pretty dumb way to go.

Died on day 35 with WX just now... because "I forgot" about rain damage (I was low and didn't even think to heal because I was in a lightning storm and I figured I'd get an overcharge heal eventually).

I died the first day during the night because I created a trap by mistake and not a torch

Last night, I was in caves. I set my lantern down so I could prepare for combat against spiders. Then I - silly me- right click the lamp which turns it off. Uh oh, cant find it. Spiders are on top of me. Panic. Try to create a torch, but the spiders hitting me stops me. Start to run in panic to find a light plant. Gets swiped by Charlie. Or a spider

 

In hindsight I could probably have hit the Use key to pick up the lamp. I dont know. But DAMN why didnt I have a torch backup??

I was chasing a gobbler down a swamp, so it could get killed by a tentacle. My plan was a success, so I went to collect its meat, but was killed by the same tentacle. To add insult to injury, I had two life-giving amulets in my inventory, but forgot to equip one.

After watching ~8 bunnies beating on couple spiders on first level of the caves, sitting back chewing popcorn, I decided to go and give them a hand to get down last 2 spiders. However, instead of pressing F to attack, I pressed SPACE (old habbits die hard) and I picked up a monster meat. I imploded next second since obviously wasn't wearing any armor being safe watching.

I've died this way more times than I'd like to admit. 

 

Another death I really hate is in the level A Cold Reception. Night falls, and I make a fire, and then it starts raining frogs. I'm only limited to the fire area, so the frogs accumulate around me and start attacking. If I'm lucky I have or am able to make a torch to get away, but there have been many times where they just take me down. Dang frogs.

I was distracted by some swedish porn and I got killed by some spiders while the game was minimized. 

Turns out it was a guy in a wig so yeah, total loss. Still, lemons make lemonade... I got through it.

As Mr. Robot man in adventure mode I was passing level 1 had all the parts and got excited. Found blue hounds stole the wand without realizing my armor broke. Almost dead down to 3 hp and the rain kills me.

I died to the night monster because I forgot to grab my logs from the chest and light the fire before it got pitch-dark, then I tried to click the lantern next to my fire I have set up for just such an occasion and couldn't because it was pitch dark.  I could have just pressed spacebar.
