2023 cross-over

There was something about a new cross-over update on 2023 roadmap. Do you have any ideas on what other game / or franchise would it be with? Or a part 2 with terraria?

Im also interested about hearing what you think it could be, New mobs? items? a new boss again?

Since its supposed to be a smaller cross-over im not sure if its gonna be as big as eye for an eye, so maybe a new boss is off the table?

Let it be Darkest Dungeon or Barotrauma or another indie game with a darker theme. A crossover to bring back a tidbit of the sweet darkness and mystery of playing the original Don't Starve for the first time.

DLC characters are so not canon that they literally cause a crossover updates.

logically? I would guess dead cells since they've done a bunch of crossovers and the game enemies and weapons does seem like it would oddly fit in DST's world

BUT if we throw logic out the window! freaking Danganronpa baby! now you might ask "why would a uncompromising survival game crossover with a game about a bunch of teenagers involved in a killing game where they have to kill each other to escape?" well to that I say! uuuuuuuuummmmm, Danganronpa is doing a Collab with identity V so they have no problem with doing Collab's and hell, Klei's done a Collab with Danganronpa ages ago when they added a bunch of Danganronpa characters to crypt of the Necrodancer so a possibly of those two game worlds (DST and Danganronpa) crossing over would be very cool

cult of the lamb and its 4 final bosses could have something to do here:

Destruction (the worm boss) destruying structures

Hunger (the frog boss) having a penalty attack on hunger stat

illnes (the kalamar boss) having some disease effect over time

war (the spider boss) summoning lots of spider and creating a mini war boss fight

I totally see them on the game with new mechanics. and the whole theme on being the 4 horseman of the apocalypse its just awesome

4 whole bosses in one patch sounds pretty extreme but we have every right to dream! so who am I to stop you?

oh oh oh and and what IIIF the summoning process be something like offering a soul in sacrifice (like in the game) in lets say the southest,northest, westest and eastest place of the land (because of why not)... so for hunger u let ur self die from hunger, illness (somehow idk), war u let someone else kill u (a pig maybe), and destruction dying from amm...gunpowder... so for all of them u will have to bring a living amulet to revive....and bring the 4 object the summoning process give u.....put them in a special altar and the battle against the 4 bosses starts! having to kill them in order

The phrase “Bite-Sized” makes me think the Crossover is with a game about eating, such as Eets Munchies, or BugSnax..

But really it could just mean small and anything goes.

I’ve been playing ALOT of Sonic Origins Plus lately & just hear me out on this for second: I never realized till now how well Sonic the Hedgehogs Robotic Animals would fit into a game that already has a few “Clockwork” Robot enemies.

no. but i wouldn't be surprised if it were brawlhalla, in which case, I would be VERY disappointed.

I think only a fighting game would benefit from ds/t representation, but it would be a copout if wilson made it into brawlhalla of all games.

If the actual legit smash bros got wilson in, I'd go wild.

I'd want darkest dungeon just for the skins. i don't know why i see wigfrid and jester in the same light, but jester got robbed when they nerfed finale in part 1. what a joke.

I just wanted to say "Bite sized" was only intended to be a Don't Starve reference and that it was smaller than the Terraria Crossover in a fun way. It was not a hint at the content and we have not provided any hints as to what it might be. 

But - your guesses and interests are useful, because who knows, it could give us more ideas. =)

Well, if you're open to suggestions... would love to see what you guys could do with some Dead Cells content. A little biased since I've been binging the game the past few days.

I don’t understand why you feel this would be THAT Bad.. here allow me to relieve you a bit-

DST crosses over with Fortnite, that gate becomes the (now finished) Gateway, the Island that is Fortnite gets Temporarily Invaded by things from the world of Dont Starve- For example: We can Reskin Raptors right now.. remove the ability to ride them and Fortnite suddenly has Terrorbeaks chasing everyone.

Release a few DST skins- Such as Charlie Herself, and Wilson.. the two Mascots for DST.. release a Hambat and Tentacle Spike Pickaxe Skin, Add a Music Track for the music of DS/DST- Let it play on the in game vehicle radios like most tracks do in Fortnite.. and Bam- Easy very freaking epic Crossover.

Meanwhile: on the DST side of things we could get skins for items in the game, such as and I’m just spitballing here- Pretty Parasol/Umbrella skins that actually took place during Fortnite Seasons- in fact the CURRENT Seasons Umbrella seems like something that would’ve fit perfectly into DST back with the Moon Quay Update. A Telecator Staff could get the “Warp Grenade/Crystal Ball” like thing. A simple change in the way the item looks but it still serves the exact same function. 

Your acting as if this would somehow ruin DST- And I’m gonna say that it would be no worse then some of the Terraria Skins that came with that Cross-Over. Banana Boomerang anyone???

I just Effortlessly Crossed DST over with Fortnite without hurting either game.
