(I was also around for the Tamagotchi phase & am highly burned out on the whole Feed, Pet, Watch Sleep thing.. at least Pokémon Pikachu 2 let me play BlackJack against Pikachu) (by the way how long of not caring for them does it take till they abandon you?) Would love to put more things in his forest... Maybe when he'll be bigger he will bring stuff? After taking WAY too long to finally find some gold-bearing rocks so I can build stuff, I started home to do so and also hire a Ticoon so I could finally find one of these little dudes...when, like two thirds of the way home, suddenly I saw a little tail swishing. From behind a FLOWER, as if it needed to be any more precious. XD Collect all 8? Oh dear no, I'm WAY behind on prepping for winter. I'm just glad I was able to find ONE, and also glad that it's kinda like "fate" decided...like, I didn't go "I want a rock one", went to the rock biome, and got a rock one--instead, I just got the one that I happened to get. My fluffbutt here doesn't have a collar yet (I kinda need to get ready to not freaking freeze) but I have picked out a name. In honour of both where it was found AND Winona's obvious real-world inspiration, I have decided to name the kitcoon... Rosie. And here's a bonus shot of us chillin' back at camp, finally. ...Notorious (because, y'know, Rosie the Riveter, and it was found behind a flower...you get it) (oh and ignore the purple berry bush, that's from a mod.) (lol I just now realised how much "i'm glad I got the one I happened to get" sounds like "I'm glad I picked the kitten that purred at me first at the shelter rather than buying from a breeder". Heh.) I'm always a bit jealous of people who can make elaborate, elegant, symmetrical bases like that in this game. My bases tend to be homey but haphazard, with everything placed in strict "wherever I have room for it" fashion. : P It's not much, but it's mine. Anyway, Willow found a kitcoon too! I was on my way to the Oasis when I suddenly saw a tail swishing behind...a bone? (Being a sandcat, and therefore a vicious little so-and-so, I like to think these are the bones of the last creature that messed with it. Welcome to the family, Little Sahara! It's actually kinda appropriate for me that Willow found a desert kitcoon, because the VERY FIRST pet I ever had in DST was found by her, in the middle of the desert, and of course it was also a cat. And our first meal was cooked cactus. (Normally the critter den would be located in the mosaic biome, not the middle of the Dragonfly's desert. But this had to be retroffied into an existing world, so I guess the game went "Duh, rocks good." and put it here.) And here we all are, chillaxing by the campfire. XD This is him on the first days (when I noticed he was growing)... VS him now... I layered them and this is the result. Yeah, he grew BIG.
