Moongo Posted December 15, 2021 Share Posted December 15, 2021 i think the only reason they added wormwood is that he was pretty new and was linked to the dst lore (moon magic made him sentient, and that's a big thing in dst now.) i honestly don't think they'd add annother creature. they've avoided sw and hamlet entities in the ocean by adding a whole new mangrove forest which is similiar to the giant hamlet trees and the mangrove trees of sw, (as well as the ox). instead of just copy pasting the code, and i'm guessing it's pretty similiar with dst. as well as this, i don't think klei wants to add too many non-human characters.
