I couldn't buy the set when it released and could only choose one (I chose Walter's). They're all great though. But I'm wondering, when are the rest of the characters getting theirs? I really want to see a Verdant skin for Wurt. I wonder what kind of fish it would be? What are some ideas for Verdant skins for the rest of the survivors? Any ideas? SkyistheGround Posted August 14, 2021 Share Posted August 14, 2021 verdant wormwood is just a massive walking hedge ok but on a more serious note, there's quite a bit of ways the remaining characters could go in terms of verdant. the original set was mainly focused around the survivors having an appreciation for nature while the new sets took them in a direction that they were a part of nature, in a very fae/fairy direction. wx was an exception in the first set, but non human characters tend to have different themes, anyway as for your question about wurt... i think it would be cool if she were based on a species that lived in mangrove forests. not only would it be fitting, as the new waterlogged biome seems heavily inspired by them as well, but there's quite a few nice looking fish would love to see more characters take the fairy direction though. i know people don't like wendy's skin because of her hair but i really like the pink she adds in a sea of brown and green Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/132682-the-new-verdant-skins/#findComment-1485990 Share on other sites More sharing options...

So it's gonna come, it just takes time. Verdant Wurt Id like to see something related to a spring fish, like a cat fish. She could have two very long and swirly whiskers. Willow will most like have green-ish clothes like the rest of the cast. Falkenpelz Posted August 15, 2021 Share Posted August 15, 2021 I could imagine Wurt just being covered in green algae, lilypads, seaweed and maybe chunks of mud, something rather thick, wet and swampy (remember, she hates flowers, probably because thin layered stuff like petals gross her out somehow.) As for Willow, it would be kind of hilarious to imply the direct opposite of nature appreciation - some half-burned, ash colored plant fibre clothing or clothes that she wears while gathering tinder. Or, you know, something related to a willow... Ohan Posted August 15, 2021 Share Posted August 15, 2021 For Wurt id personally prefer something that stays closer to her merm look. im not a huge fan of her skins that make her unrecognizable as a merm, like the cthulu skin and angler fish skin. Compare this to Webber and u'll see that he always looks like a spider across all his skins, Wurt has very little that carries over across her skins, not even her merm horns. Wormwood has skins like that too that completely change him which i like, but Wormwood doesnt have anything ingame to be compared to, while Wurt is supposed to look like a (warrior) merm. I would hate it if they made an unverdant skin for Wormwood, his wooden furniture skin already embodies that imo. If anyone were to get an unverdant skin it should be Willow. For Wormwood something inspired by the Bramble Bloom from Hamlet could be nice i think: For Wickerbottom id like to see something fantastical like Wendy's verdant skin and the fan concept Wardin shared. There's tons of creativity to be had, I love the idea of Wormwood becoming an over grown hedge, like those fluffy untrimmed sheep, just all mossy. Willow could have gardener attire, or be all ash-y and covered in burnt plants, or even fire nettles! There's possibilities to be explored!
