There are still certainties in this world ... " Maxwell, on the other hand, I think he would continually try to extract rabbits from the hat: "How deep is the rabbit hole ..." I imagine Wolfgang starts to pray (he mentioned prayers in one of his old quotes; perhaps he is Catholic or Orthodox). I imagine Wendy as immobile as a statue, while seriously contemplating the idea of suicide (don't take me for a sadist, she's explicitly clarifies on several occasions that she wants to kill himself in some way). Not because of shadow creatures or insanity, he grew accustomed to it. Wheeler would be telling herself her incredible adventures on the sky and say with a smile: Oh good HEAVENS, I must have put my head in the MOON! And I believe Wickerbottom was an adventure once and would do the exactly same thing as Wheeler with the differencce of saying once in a while, SHH! This a library!
