I came to that conclusion from looking at patterns. Look at the compendium and look through all the kradeshi characters. Might be hard to do since you can't sort characters by species.

I saw her .tex files when I was looking at the scripts but I didn't have the game on to see. Neat to see what she looks like, though!

Yeah I see quite the resemblance; Vix is the one that doesn't really look like the others (But we don't have a front-on look of him yet so it's kinda hard to tell)

After going through some UI elements for adding to the wiki, I found a few interesting Faction name tidbits

  • The Spree faction was called Fleadhusk Bandits
  • The Admiralty faction was called Newdeltree
  • The Spark Barons faction was called Clust Tycoons (as I interpret it, in the file it reads tycoon_clust). The name change came later than the Spree and Admiralty changes
  • The Jakes faction file name is smugglers_jakes, implying it was a whole faction of smugglers, as opposed to only some of them now

I remember the game said something about how to mainland where the admiralty came from is named "deltree". Calling the admiralty "new" deltree could have some big lore implications if we're to take this early name as canon or a possible part of the canon. Maybe deltree was named deltree during the vagrant age, and so when they came and went, the admiralty stepped in to try and return deltree to whatever authority it had before.

The Spree and the Admiralty ones make sense; seeing as the Sprees have Fleads fighting alongside with them a lot, and the Admiralty is from Deltree. And no problem :D

And hey @iLoveBees you have much Wiki experience? I'm on a pretty novice level with wikis so I'd actually love to lend a hand and get more comfortable with it (plus I'm already studying UI design on the side, so I can definitely edit or knock out assets for the wiki interface without a problem) :D

I had a Vroc named Teddee in my last Sal run. When I went to pick it up from my room once it gained the ability to speak in full sentences, lol

not all of it is play-by-play, although i hope some of what they had finds it way into the game again. i know the yotelope is somewhere in the game's release build, else why would we have yotelope horns as an item card...(please klei).

other forms of relatively cool things that could come up would be the "getting a bottle for the yote's head". i'd see this as either a free drink wherever or as a free cup of hard liquor to befriend someone. also a pistol admiralty unit as well as that snazzy bayonet rifle. the prison system also seems interesting, although i think someone else already did that as a mod.

hesh, get REAL ambitious, and add some form of the free roam mechanic that old griftlands seemed to have. doesn't need to be fancy, but all that artwork just seemed too good to be thrown in the proper lumin disposal bin.

Nice! I'm totally new to wiki editing, but I'm learning as I go. Right now I'm just focused on uploading UI elements and creating templates. The current admin has been AWOL for the last couple months so I'm looking into getting them back. My handle on the wiki is Yudrig.

I made an AutoHotKey script for easier file extraction if you're interested. For some reason it doesn't work within the debug command, but it helps with making the commands for the extraction without a lot if typing/copy-pasting. 

Just make sure you name your notepad "Paste" and do something in it without saving so it gets the asterisk in it's name. Then change the destination in the script to match the data.zip file like "ui" or "icons/quests" or whatever. Also change "data.zip" to a different one depending on the zip file. Then just press F7 and it'll automatically create the necessary command for extraction in the notepad (it will copy the file BELOW the currently selected one). Then just keep pressing F7 until you have them all for that folder. Let me know if there's any issues.

Hey, thanks for this, however whenever I try it, it always outputs this:

granted I did have to change the script a little to get it to detect the windows, but otherwise I'm not too familiar with AHK. Am I just using it wrong?

Edit: I suppose I should add that after this is pasted my laptop tries to open the selected .tex file (which it can't do because I have no default program set)

Edit 2: Nevermind, I see the problem; I have to press down and hold a function key on my laptop (labeled "fn") to use F keys. as it stands right now, all it does it darken my laptop screen when it gets to the F2 copy command, lol. Do you know the syntax for the fn key?

Edit 3: I'm an idiot. It doesn't work directly in the zip file, lol

Oh thank Hesh. I don't think I couldn't have easily troubleshooted for you. This was literally my first script and it took me an hour just to figure out how to get it to change windows. I'm happy it's working for you 

Also, am I the only person who never noticed the Spark Barons symbol is the Shills symbol with a cog??

Does anyone know if anything special happens when you spare Day 1 boss as Rook? Any way you can benefit from sparing them?

Cuz I know that as Sal you can meet Day 1 and 2 bosses later on. But so far nothing like this for Rook.

The Spree symbol is likely a flead, Bilebrokers is a stomach. I never noticed the Rentorian one was also a bug of some kind. I hope we meet them!
