I'm trying to revert some pages back to how they were. https://dontstarve.fandom.com/wiki/Special:RecentChanges?limit=500 If you want to help, check any pages with the recurring troll's name and press history. DST needs an official cellphone app from the actual Klei dev’s that can’t be altered and edited by some common Joe or Jane. At least all the information in the App would be Legit and provided ONLY by the dev team, hey who knows perhaps they might even sneak some lore tidbits in through the App! This one guy is good at showcasing how boring they are to folks with common senses. That's what happened when I tried editing the cooked stone fruit rot timer from the previous 3 days to the current 2 days a while back. Well, according to the notification I got, it seems to be resolved. I hope they make it so that EVERY edit on the wiki has to be verified by an admin or mod; as great as it is that anyone can contribute to a Wiki page, it makes no sense that any anonymous user can INSTANTLY make changes without any oversight. In that case you just need to do the same thing as with every other griefer ingame: Page griefed? -> Kick + Rollback If it's too much work for you then you can only hope that some admin locks the wiki for a few days to avoid any pages being griefed. ADM Posted May 4, 2020 Share Posted May 4, 2020 I don't get what is funny about wasting peoples efforts on documenting a game who really needs a conform wiki for beginners such as Don't Starve, (and we should consider us lucky that players are actively improving it). Especially knowing the guy behind this is obviously not doing it in the interest of the game or its community, in fact the hole opposite, it's also certainly not someone playing the game or if it is... well, it should get into modding to make its funny pepe frog meme instead of forcing peoples to face something with no good intention if not just personal entertainment. As for drama, it would just fit better to have fun together on forums more than polluting wiki platforms, that's what we're blaming, I believe. At most, it's just an anon inserting gibberish/removing stuff once or twice before stopping, which can be easily removed. If you really want to stop the bullies work, then you either need to get rid of the bully, or to make their task as boring as possible. But the first case appears not to be possible since they can always just make new accounts and keep doing their work. The second case also appears not to be possible because you all are encouraging the griefers to carry on like that. You all need to learn how to ignore bullies and how to rollback things without giving any single reaction to their work. Lock the wiki for a few days might also help since you won't be able to complain about his work and they won't be able to do their work. Like, this one guy kept messing with the character pages from "Orange is the New Black" and saying things like how the trans-woman character was "a real man pretending to be a woman". It got so bad that a group got formed of saner people to WATCH for this and de-edit their edits, called "Congress Edits". ...I wish I was kidding... (EDIT: There's a swear in the first line, in case anybody worries about that kind of thing.)
