glooomy Posted January 5, 2020 Author Share Posted January 5, 2020 Lunar Bathhouse Been wanting to do some builds on the Lunar Island for a while now and I finally started working on doing so! Wanted to give the island a warmer feel VS it's usual cool tone. I did teleport some No-Eyed Deer because I felt they would look cute wandering around outside but they scattered right off lol! NSAiswatchingus Posted January 5, 2020 Share Posted January 5, 2020 Dope. I haven't seen many Lunar bases that replace the turf too. I want to do the same to my island and replace all the Lunar turf. It's good to know it looks as cool as I hoped it would. As for suggestion, I would only say fully built walls all the way around it (So it's like an actual Bathhouse) but that's my decor answer to everything. These are glass sculptures. You can get them by burning the Antlion's sand attacks with something like a torch. Too bad I have some gingerbread houses located right next to the antlion spawn point in my current world, and I've already built something around them. I would have stolen your design. One thing I struggle with is turf placements and seeing your (and other people's) works greatly helps. Often I find my turfs looking bland and when I try to get 'creative' it ends up looking messy. I love what you've done so far! The rocks laying around the houses is such a nice touch. Looks amazing ^-^ Also you've got the pirate birdcage, I'm so jealous. But yessss ever since the Side Show collection of skins dropped I've been wanting to do a proper circus/carnival with foods and games and stuff. Here's a peak at my carnival section so far, I want to add a lot more of course- I just don't know what yet. And one of the carnival games! Dart balloons ^-^ Might add a little fortune teller thing on that wooden square in the bottom left with one of these Cubic Zirkonia Ball trinkets. And here's a little hay maze I did when I was working on some ~fall festival~ things. Mazes are SO fun to do! I drew it up on graphing paper first before doing it in game. I would like to see how cool a huge maze would be, like one that's actually difficult to do. Even with the Geometric Placement mod, I'd have to pick an area that was _big_ enough for what I imagine the finished project as, then balance getting the ingredients, making and placing the items with my "normal life" of exploring, gathering, checking rabbit traps, going on specific trips sometimes (to the rockland, to the Pig King, etc.) and dodging dog attacks. I'm lucky if I get around to stealing some marble and carpeted flooring from a statue area before the first winter! : P ...does it count if you decorate kinda nicely with _nature_...? ...that's it. That's all I got, for almost-symmetrical prettiness. It WAS nice of those trees to all turn the same colour, though... XD (This WAS purely decorative though; the trees were not for chopping or eating. They were for lookin'.
