If you're super duper lucky, a Deep Bass spawn will be close enough to Land. You can use Dock Kits to build a Ocean Trawler Deep Bass Farm, which will Spawn Malbatross. Use a ranged weapon to draw aggro, then run onto the Boat to fight it. Don't forget to build an Anchor in the Middle of the Boat to prevent the Boat from getting banged around too much.

A bunch of uncraftable items were given deconstruction-ability in a QoL update. Bee Queen is likely the only one you'd want to though. The Spider Hat and Fuelweaver's drops were also part of that but just deconstruct into Spider loot or Bone Shards/Nightmare Fuel respectively

Why don't Fuelweaver's drops deconstruct into fossils? That would make them renewable...
And if players want bone shards they should be able to deconstruct fossils for them

This was suggested back when that update came out but nothing came of it. Honestly it's not the worse, statues work just as well as fossils do in terms of creating impassable walls (maybe even better since they have a larger hitbox), and having an easy source of boneshards is great for making tons of glowcaps/mushlights.

Bone shards are much easier to place, making them far superior

Bone shards are not an issue anymore with Wilson update, would be pretty cool if bone armor dropped fossils instead

Here's a random thing I noticed. The game has no Auto-Run, at least not that I'm aware of. But, if I run in a direction I want to go, and then click with my Mouse outside of the DST Game Window (on one of my other computer monitors for example), then the character is set to Auto_Run in the direction I was running in when I clicked outside the DST Game Window.

It's a bootleg Auto-Run, I guess.

That would've been the most logical thing, considering Fuelweaver is a horrible boss to fight without at least three friends, Weather Pains or Brightshade Staffs.

These are my Volt Goats, they live with a Telelocator Focus that I send Treeguards through.
When I want Meat, Volt Goat Horns or Electric Milk, I can shoot Volt Goats with 1 Electric Dart at a time, causing the Volt Goat to Electrify and attack the Treeguard. The Treeguard kills the Electrified Volt Goat.
Eventually the Treeguard dies, I get Living Logs. I load up 3 more Purple Gems and Teleport a new Treeguard in.
I don't think I've seen this type of setup for Volt Goats before. Anyway, it works for me.

I have never ever used a telocater staff so I’ve always been doing things the hard way of luring mobs on foot into other mobs..

I have a question about this “teleportation staff” is it possible to teleport Brightshade Plants?? And if it is… this game just got a whole lot more interesting.. I have several bosses who are in for a bad day..

Good question. I just dealt with the Brightshade Content a couple days ago and I'm not looking forward to ever dealing with it again. I didn't even think to try to Telelocate the Deadly Brightshades.. I wasn't able to find the Prefab Code for the Deadly Brightshades, so I don't know how to force Spawn them into the game so I can test Telelocator Staff on them. If you find out, I'd be interested to hear the results.

Found the Prefab Code: ""lunarthrall_plant""

Sorry, Wanda can only do an Examine with the Telelocator Staff Equipped. She says "This is going to be bothersome". Doh! It was a good idea, worth testing.

You can use Statues to help you remember and highlight where Wormholes and Sinkholes / Cave Exits will send your character if you click on it.
I placed a Celestial Champion and Dragonfly Statue near this Wormhole to remind me this Wormhole will send me to the Dragonfly Desert, which happens to be right next to Lunar Island...

This next picture is on the other side of that Wormhole. I'm in the Dragonfly Desert, next to the Lunar Island. I placed an Antlion Statue and a Rook Statue next to this Wormhole to remind me that this will take me to Antlion Oasis Desert, which happens to be my home, main base...so I used the Castle Chess Piece to represent Base/Home

I used Google Translate, but I still don't understand. No-Face always mysterious af.

I think Willell said:

- The Rockjaws will attack and try to eat birds.
- Wavey jones will always spawn on the furthermost side of the boat, away from the player.
- Flingomatics will extinguish different mobs on fire differently - I am not sure I got this right -
- At the furthest jumping distance you can get to and from a boat, the character may sometimes randomly be able to do so and sometimes it wont.
- At the center of the map, Wormwood can't plant seeds.

I tried my best to use the expression "easily translated", which should be a failure.

· Sharks eat birds and attack birds.

·The place where Jones appears is the farthest side from the player.

·When different types of creatures catch fire, the fire extinguisher will work selectively.

·Jumping from the boat to the shore and from the shore to the boat, there is a slight difference in the farthest distance. The picture shows that when the player jumps from the boat to the shore, he falls into the "sea" (actually, he doesn't).

·He can't plant seeds in the very center of the world.A circle with a radius of 1.

I don’t know when this change was actually made but once a player turns into Wonkey (if they’re on Moon Quay Island when it happens) Pirate Monkeys will stop trying to Rob You because you are now one of them.

I have used this to my advantage to intentionally become Wonkey before attempting to bring any reasources from Moon Quay back to my mainland base without pirates robbing me blind.

Step 1- put anything you don’t want stollen  in a chest far away from water.. (but around the area you intend to set sail to Moon Quay.

Step 2- Carry & Wear with you either a Football Helm or Marble Armor and at the very least Two DarkSwords. (For easily killing Monkeys with)

Step 3- Using a Boat with no structures on it, Grass Raft with Driftwood Oar works just fine, paddle your way out to Monkey Island.

Step 4- get there and KILL 10 Monkeys while you are on the island and the Monkey Queen can watch you.

Step 5- Become Monkey, wait for enemies to stop aggroing onto you & then just stand by portal gathering everything you want.

Step 6- While still Wonkey… leave said Island with no conflict from your fellow monkey pirates with all your loots.

Step 7- Set up Banana Bushes back home at your base or on Moon Quay Island (both is good..) Return to Monkey Queen give her Bananas, remove curse- Profit.

I would LOVE for this to be expanded upon deeper, such as needing to become Wonkey to travel through a Pirate controlled Lunar Island sized area or sea checkpoint.

Basically it’s like turning Wonkey into Wurts Clever Disguise.

But, did you know additional spores placed in the same glowcap as the one containing a crown shard also lasts forever?

And light bulbs

and glow berries, and light crabs, anything you can put in there will stay fresh forever if theres a shard

You can also just die somewhere with nothing but the trinkets (which will drop them) and res away from your body if you don't want to run back to monkey island. If you don't want the trinkets lying around, you can die near a lureplant and it will eat and delete them.
