Are you still filling out most of the wiki strings manually? You guys should really make it automatic and pull from the games strings file(and use the games source for many other things in addition)! :D

How? It would take some work off my back, especially since Mika specifically asked me in the Discord if I could work on the quotes for a page.

No, I'm actually copying text from files. It still takes a lot of time because I'm trying to sort it as conveniently and beautifully as possible. There is a page where you can see a table of all the items and their descriptions in the game: https://dontstarve.wiki.gg/wiki/Scrapbooking (Only I filled out this table and it took me a lot of time)

I've dreamed of this. Unfortunately, editors who are active on wiki seem on one have that ability. :(

https://terraria.wiki.gg/wiki/Terraria_Wiki:Lua

This is a simple but introductory explanation on the Terraria Wiki (gg).

Quite a few game wikis use the Scribunto extension already to create templates and automatically perform tasks with Lua, from Terraria to Rain World, Risk of Rain 2, and a few others I'm likely forgetting.

You guys have something nice going on where, well, Lua is the language the game mainly uses already!

I had an old old friend who actually took on the task of making their own DST wiki on fandom with a bunch of things made automatic like recipes, item stats, strings, but it ended up going abandoned at some point. Cant seem to find it again however so it must have been deleted/removed unfortunately.

This design looks like a mix of the Horror Hound and Moonrock Pengull, even if it didn’t get in nice to see they’re still somewhat open to that kind of design, pretty sure you can see its organs

since the current mutated frogs are possessed by gestals i wish the design from your comment was use for frog rains and frogs from ponds during moonstorms

that mechanic really needs more mutations

This design likely takes inspiration from actual glass frogs!!

Yes these are real! I do personally wish we got these. The play on words of having an actual Moon Glass Frog would have been awesome, and they could have shattered on impact!

This old old(2013 old!) note/scrapped concept of frogs exploding on impact constantly lives rent free in my head, hehe.

All things considered though the Bright eyed frogs still have a really awesome design and I love the blinking eyes on their back. To put it into analogy, I wanted a strawberry cake, but chocolate is still darn good!

I literally have glass frogs and I somehow didn’t think about this, now I just feel dumb

But yeah it’s a fantastic design, and it seems like we still got real life frog inspiration with the final design as well, I think the eyes might be based on the funny flat frogs with the holes in their back for eggs (not posting an image because as much as I love those guys it makes me want to throw up)

What happened to them?

This is the concept art for the Cannon Variant of the Sea Weeds meant for players. I severely wish they made it in, I think the potential of a self replenishing cannon would've been sick!

@Phyan shared an interesting story with him. He said that he and @Third Porkus found a CD version of 2014's Don't Starve which had a lot of exclusive official content, especially concept art that had never been seen before. He also said that a little later he would tell everything in detail.

I'm still a little bit astonished, there's been some fake leaks in the past so I was a bit 50/50 at first, it's crazy to realize it's all genuine. There's so much!

This also strongly reaffirms my older note that Hamlet was vastly composed of unused/old concept art, especially seeing Pikos and the older nuts in here. Cazy!
