End Game Lack of Resources

The biggest one is Chlorine in my opinion, some seeds don't have the geysers, if you don't have one you can kiss Gassy Moos goodbye

There's roughly 15t of Chlorine on most seeds. You need 0.5kg per gas grass per cycle. You could have a gassy moo farm until your frames die

They are another way of producing Natural Gas which can be pretty helpful if you don't want to consume as much petrol on producing nat gas

you get more energy from solar panels than you do by using the same light to grow gas grass

There isn’t really this scarcity in the way you think.

Algae is there long enough so you can transition in to electrozlyzers. Dirt is limited so you transition to other types of foods.

Late game is fully sustainable. You learn how to get there over time.

That's how religious people argue. In science you prove that you're right.

Science is what? Hypothesis => Theory => Tests => if tests ok => fact?  Just kidding.

Gassy Mo's produce a certain amount of NG, this can be used.

Regarding Topic: maybe you play the game wrong if you lack resources?

Yes but have you tried it?

In terms of power production it's LESS than solar panels when compared to gas grass production

Also Moos don't lay eggs so you have to make multiple rocket trips to maintain your ranch

I like to make my life hard. ;)

Might I suggest powering your base with magma powered steam turbines where the magma comes from the volcano planets. Take the resulting igneous rock and feed it to hatches for coal. That should be a sufficiently hard life to be interesting :D

I guess we know which camp you belong to.

I've proven it to myself which one is right, I'll let you try it yourself and see what you think.

I'd welcome anyone who's actually tried ranching moos to tell me how wrong I am.  But I think I'll be waiting awhile for that to happen.

With last update steel is not a problem any more.
Oxygen, water can be produced also from polluted sources, like slime and dirty geysers, but restarting game in last update gives me planty of all resources, much more then I need. So I stop thing about energy, steel, plastic, oxygen, hydrogen, water at all.

To recycle more then get, you have to settle really insane numbers of duplicates, despite this game just have no tasks for them. Or may be some just what to rebuild up the whole map. I doesn't even think about it until now.

There are two camps when it comes to gassy moos:

1.  Those who believe they are a viable option for NG production.

2.  Those who have actually tried it.

Feel free to prove me wrong.

Actually, in science you try and prove yourself wrong and fail.

My view is their cost ineffective compared to alternatives, based on the numbers and reviews by other players who have used them. Never actually used them myself, I am a devout worshiper of the goddess of Black and Gold known as oil. As a worshiper I firmly believe natural gas is a waste product fit only for heretics and nothing you could say would change my mind. That's factual fail tested religious science right there.

Let get a few things clear, most resources is technically UNLIMITED.

Gold and maybe some others is finite resources, but if you know about the Gold problem from the beginning you can adjust your usage to make it a practically infinite resource.

The PROBLEM is the RATE of gathering the material, sure I can get infinite clay, but so far I'm always out as my Morb farm just can't create PO fast enough to create it.
