  1. All I want is useful Light and Fire no matter from DLC or Mod. I got only one lamp every game UNDERGROUD.. shame! Also, for hundred hours of playing I never fight cold, only heat. So the game lose it's goals while you meet same challenges everytime, while game have a lot of ignored mechanics. I remember same problems before. Reinstalling the game deal with this problem, but I'm also sure it was problem of my system, not the game itself. I also suggest you to restart computer. Sound stupid, but it also deals a lot of uncommon bugs. After this you would absolutely sure it's the patch problem.
  2. [Challange] Male VS Female

    Ren and Max are not male as I remember. Gender has no use in the game so you better change to classic A vs B team. Developers are trying to implement in the game all the difference of the human race, but you would never meet male asian and half of the europe itself. And forget about one nation base colony at this moment. While it a really sore point for them you better don't touch it.
  3. With last update steel is not a problem any more. Oxygen, water can be produced also from polluted sources, like slime and dirty geysers, but restarting game in last update gives me planty of all resources, much more then I need. So I stop thing about energy, steel, plastic, oxygen, hydrogen, water at all. To recycle more then get, you have to settle really insane numbers of duplicates, despite this game just have no tasks for them. Or may be some just what to rebuild up the whole map. I doesn't even think about it until now.
  4. Yep, I see this bug too. I tried to open grill menu. Chose the Egg (or anything, that cause the endless cycle), then mark it to compost. The problem were dealed for some time.
  5. They may make their game as easy as they want, while where were the options to make it hardcore. At this stage it's a good idea to make the game easy and fast, so a lot of people could find all the game bugs. I believe some people would make really interesting mods to this game in the future, but they need maximum wide game engine features by default. Making new type of germs (from animals, cold, meteorite etc, plus a lot of new medicine) is not a big problem then you already have all logic system presented in the game. Same thing about aggressive animals, but for the balance it need a lot of time. Otherwise they would eat all the inhabitants and die from hunger before you meet em. Btw parasites, that can infected tiles, water, animals (making em sick) also could be a type of plants, spreading new germs in the area. In my country where are some horrible pests, so dangerous to agriculture and the people that government had to spend millions to deal with it every year. If your facility let it spread through your land - you can be seriously fined. We think we are so advanced, but still can't fight so primitive things in 21 century. Like: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heracleum_(plant) It's also very dangerous to the sensitive people, leaving the skin burns to the people and animals: Every this challenge are really specific and needed a lot of time, but can be balanced due the already existing systems. So I hope they would invest in it some day, or at least prepared the opportunity for the modding. Sorry for my poor English.
  6. Yep, It's almost always disappear. I just deconstruct cabin, then astronaut fall down and add to colony again like he/she/it never leave. Then rebuild cabin and assign again. I think I saw this bug on forum before and devs know about it. The whole rocket update still too raw, a lot of stability change are going to be add in coming patch.
  7. What about darkness? As I can see there is only light presented in the game (from Printing pod, lamp, Sun and few bugs), still no Darkness that can add a LOT of different needs for dups and the player. New level of power management and base design, dups would need personal lights etc. You would finely get use of lamps, glass, doors all of this switches and so on. Plus potential for a lot of visual effects, not only day/night shifts. I don't even asking for change of seasons. What about predators / parasites and so on? As I can see there is only domestic bugs and fish. Still there is the place for some cute animals, not only huge insects and flying stomach. I don't even asking for dangerous creatures for the Duplicants, the only living form that kills in the game. Giving player the personal Pets would also nice. Some pics from "Don't starve". Most games have "Hardcore mode", surviving mode etc. So making game easier support bigger sells, while adding challenges pleases loyal fan base. If game became real popular there would be a lot of great mods for everyone, potential is so high: relations, other dups/aliens invasions, spaceships crushes, extreme weather conditions/season changes and so on. Game already heave weapon and climate systems, space exploration and animals, but leaves a lot of opportunities for future updates/DLC I think. For making party, trade stuff and date-sim there's a lot of games. It's not so urgently necessary. Plus most of my duplicants suddenly find themselves as third sex (lol). It'll be a problem to make them couple in this version I think ^_^ This game about exploration, for extending population they got Printer pods (that should be use some material from the colony, but who cares?).

I live with this bug some time and it evolved to this major bugs: missing strings ui uisidescreens oxidizertank fuelamount missing strings ui uisidescreens luqiedfueltank fuelamount Now, then I trying to input any other amount of fuel, Duplicates ignore it and trying to deliver maximum number instead. Then oxylite drops out and start to melt. And this circle repeat. It's started then rocket "returned" from the space mission. Trying to rebuild the whole rocket wont fix anything, but mission now possible with 2700kg of Oxylite only. It's kinda annoying, because I need only 900kg. Two screenshots:

LoL, this problem for me evolved to: missing strings ui uisidescreens oxidizertank fuelamount Now, if I trying to input any amount of fuel in the bar, then tank start empty it self over and over again, until I rebuild it and leave alone (in hope it wont broke again). It's started after my rocker returned from space. So it's a full layer of errors, that may be caused by mistakes in mechanics. I think it's better to leave it to the developers and not making hundred hotfixes, like Windows love to do, in one moment it could ruin the stability and confuse everybody.
  10. Резервуар для жидкостей / газа находится в ветке Base, а не в "вентиляции" или "водопроводной". Я тоже не сразу понял где искать. Чтобы подтвердить ошибку, лучше предоставить скриншот с веткой Base, после изучения соответствующего исследования. Хотя у меня все обновления появлялись даже в старых сохранениях, которые были сделаны до свежих патчей.
  11. Exo-suite is the analogy of ocean wetsuit from my opinion. In wetsuits there is a special valve, so you can easily finish your "business" outside. Before, there were two types of divers, one who piss into wetsuit, and those who SAY they are not. I think it's not a big problem to place extra Outhouse near your facility, so Dups can use it while outside main base. Still, i never meet this problems, except "Red Alert" situation.
  12. Yes. Moving are help. Changing scheduler also help. But I notice it then my colony got starve, while only cook staying all day long near shower, thinking of meaning of being. (◣_◢) Just find it again with another dups. Bathtime at the end of the day this time. And near any shower. Every few cycles. Starting Colony few days ago after update.
  13. Version: SU-290532 of 21 oct 2018 Duplicants just staying near Shower with no action for whole day. Dup's status telling it still showering, while building says it's "Not allowed by schedule". All of this are captured on screenshot. Then it come "Downtime" Dups just moving forward to her business without status of "showered". Catalina staying near fridge deciding what to eat. It's difficult task, as you can see by the Cycle time.
