mmh, french accents dont seem to be handled everywhere ( all bottom buttons and tooltip headers still miss some very common chars, ) 

(and those chars are definitly below 8000 in the the unicode range)

It was a bit broken. Should at least wake the duplicant and start a fight. The loser gets eaten.
As it was, the hatch was a silent assassin that could instantly hide evidence, putting Corvo to shame.

Localization not working correctly at all places yet, i posted 2 issue on tracker, hope for fixes next builds :) Still great job! It's a Start!

Would like to know the reasoning behind this. Was it because you think the mechanic was unfair or because the mechanic was actually an asset people used to sort out lousy dupes without affecting stress?

It was an oversight in the behavior of the Hatch and the fact that Duplicants are walking element chunks.

Why not? Then it's not challenging to try and lure a hatch to a good spot where you can trap it if there's no risk involved. Now you can just let them into your base and poop free coal anywhere without having to take special precautions.
