I have to say: you did a f-*beeep*ig awsome job.I enjoy the new world gen., i LOVE insanity, keeping my sanity at ~25 the whole time.You don't know how lovely the world is after you go sane again after 5 days of being insane.I love that i can hide in my stone bunker now when the hounds come.Since i bought this game, there simply was no update as awsome as this.Maybe it doesn't add much content, as in items, buildings, etc. but it surely added a lot more atmospheric things.The only thing that makes me thinking: How confused and creeped out will a new player be now? antiphysicist Posted February 13, 2013 Share Posted February 13, 2013 Parts of this update are pure genius -SPOILERS- the hand that randomly put out my firethe eyesall the creaturesthe bunnies turning into little demonsit's really changed the feel of the game, by the time I'd played a lot on the last patch I basically felt omnipotent in the world: only able to die by my own hand choosing to fight 3 spiders queens at once or something, this one has a lot more existential terror feeling to it. afromonkey97 Posted February 13, 2013 Share Posted February 13, 2013 im lovin the update. went as (second person, dont remember the name) and wanted to show my brother how sanity worked. after a short walk i found the wooden thing and all its parts, 4 mandrakes (which i have no idea what they do, only that they make you sleep when you cook and eat one) and made a mini base next to it. my sanity is fine but whenever i see a flash on my screen i know its below 70. i also found out that eating raw food will make your sanity go down.
