Dreamscape18459 Posted November 23, 2017 Share Posted November 23, 2017 I nominated it "Labor of Love" because Klei actually care about their games unlike plenty of other studio's. I like how they chose to not implement a paywall for content so everyone can play every part of the game. Hopefully the Forge was profitable so they can continue developing the game without alienating players behind a DLC paywall. I bought single player Don't Starve in 2013 and have received years of content for free, the game's sequel DST for free along with years of bugfixes and even new content. (ANR.) They even gave players ROG content for free which is awesome. This game and studio is incredibly refreshing amid so many studio's trying to maximize profit (Lootboxes, selling "Horse Armor" game mechanics.) and minimize support (Updating Creation Club content while leaving the base game buggy and broken.)
