Do not worry, there's an over-protective Ghost around, which will rescue your butt. 2: "Cute" factor. Characters in this game are designed to be cute - big heads, small bodies. So, obviously the most "cute" design - a blonde weak girl in pink outfit will be the most popular one. Of course, when you have people who like the design, they'll want to dress up their Barbie doll. Also there's reasons like her voice and quotes, but I don't think they make her the most popular. Don't Starve is dark and stuff, so being over-the-top depressed and dark makes her better? FTR Posted December 4, 2016 Share Posted December 4, 2016 I love Wendy. It's very easy to play and relaxing character, since you don't even have to do any fighting most of the time. And Abigail is monster in caves. I don't play too often but I choose her when I have to play on high latency server for whatever reason or when I just want to chill. But I think her skin popularity is also caused by how nice are her skins. A while ago I went through all character skins and genuinely thought "oh wow, the only skins I like are Survivor Woodie, Triumphant Wendy and Survivor Wilson". Frankly I think the rest of the facial skins are ugly and I wouldn't really use them, but these three are amazing. Oh and well, Wes has cool face skin, too bad character is terrible. Design of this character is really damn cool and I would probably play him more if not for terrible stats. More hunger drain is especially bad for someone like me who loves very long trips. You just need to pack like one or two extra dishes not that bad though he does take some practice he just makes things hurt more if you become unprepared as long as you keep a cool head your golden. Also not gonna lie but wes balloons did help me about three times when my equipment broke on hound waves. which did a nice transition into nightmare farming. Wendy GoH and The Triumphant are almost the same as regular Wendy head and they are 11€ and 18€. The Survivor is pretty cool, but cheaper than these. I agree -- she always looks more or less the same to me, whereas Wicker gets a terrific makeover. Her Triumphant head is my favorite as well.
