(Danny, you are the kind of person I happily never see face-to-face. Don't take it too harshly.)

The change from hurting each other to discussing beliefs did not please the tinker very much. Sure, he believes in gods and divine gifts and what not, but the matter at hand has priority to him. Praying is nice, but building and maintaining gizmos is practical and useful. As the great Forgemaster focused on work and understanding his craftsmanship, so does Pih-Dit study complex mechanisms and constructs whenever possible. The Forgemaster is not almighty and not a god, but an idol, and almost within reach as well.

"But this Dungeon shifts every time we enter or exit a room, Myth. The room those adventurers went into is most likely completely different from the one we'd step into." Miles counters, turning off exposition lane to back on track street, "I think we should go down the path with the leaves. I'm not sure why; it's just a gut feeling."

"And to answer your question, bowblader, I'd sink like a rock in this, and it isn't water proof. I didn't design this with swimming capabilities in mind; it would have detracted from the armour's effectiveness in combat."

Quentin shook his head at the proposition of water, and wrote his complaints on paper then held it up:

Too Much Water And My Potions Will Be Useless. Even Dangerous. They Could Mix, Float, Sink, Or Have Unseen Chemical Reactions. Nothing So Comical As Just Some Stench. While An Advantage For Pundolf, It Is A Handicap To Everyone Else.

Rhi did not want to talk about gods. "We have two ice-bending adventurers in our party who can transform water into ice but I think you're right! Let us go through the leaves path." He listened to Eye and hummed "Hmmm... Your people sure are interesting! I'd like to go back to your homeland if you ever go back after all of this, to learn more about them!" Quentin had a point too, potions mixed with water could be dangerous, and he witnessed it not so long ago. "Very well, I change my mind! To the path with leaves we go! Oh, of course, if everyone's ready, aye?", he yapped.

"Sure...although..."

He looks down.

"Well, it's not the safest place. Our clans used to fight each other for lands, and next to that we have periodic attacks from the masked civilisation. They say we stole their lands and are corrupting the world with our "gears magic". We never hurt them...we just try to survive, really. And they have migrated in the lands only after we did. They say there's worse in the eastern lands..."

...he shakes his head.

"As I told you during my trip, my village got burned down by one of their attacks, killing many of my clan, the Kerykeion clan. My house...was the first target. I have no idea how, but the Masked used a weird machine...like a cannon, but firing fireballs. My mother died in the attack. It was sad but...I had to be strong: my sister was still alive, and needed someone by her side. The other survivors of my clan are taking care of her. That is why, now, I'm here to get the treasure: prove my value, and give my clan a fresh start with what I can bring back from this adventure."

He then turns at Rhi.

"Oh...sorry for my long speech. I might have bored you."

Musical choice of the day

After a short discussion you decide to go the way of the rusteling leaves as too many of your partymembers would be at a dissadvantage in an underwater enviroment.

As you walk through the hallway you notice different types of leaves and pineneedles on the ground. As you finally reach the end you you see what the rumors out this dungeon being not normal meant.

A lush green forest opens infront of you. The scent of pines and oaks fills the air and you can suprisingly see a cloudy sky above you. You make your way through the lush woods.

Suprisingly there are also a lot of different edible plants in the area. Berrys, ferns and mushrooms this meant that your group can collect some food for the future without the need to use some of the supplies you bought from the Inn.

As you walk further into the forest you suddenly come across a clearing in the trees.

In the middle of the clearing stands an ominius portal. Infront of the portal you see a heavily armored figure who has not noticed you. His whole attention is on the portal. You can't see much of him but you can sense an aura of hatred that emits from him. Whoever he is he's certaintly no ally.

(Also FFS Toast stop it or I retcon your Bloodcontrol abilitys since you just abuse them to mess with the party.)

"I don't really know much about gods... But if anyone is willing to direct me to the god of blowing stuff up, I'll worship the hell outta that." Hammerhead spoke as they moved towards the room, but shut up immediately as he saw the being before the portal. His voice became an urgent whisper. "Psst! Guys, see that guy? Looks pretty scary."

Miles casts a glare towards Pundolf under her helmet, but lets it go and moves on as the group heads down the green path.

The Steamknight scans the area up and down. "A micro-biome with cloud-like precipitation in the middle of a dungeon... amazing..." she mumbled to herself before coming up next to Hammerhead. Though she wasn't devoted to the study of the earth and sky, she knew a few people back home who were and would be foaming at the mouth at the chance to study this. She could still appreciate it's beauty and tranquility however.

Miles's gaze met with the armoured entity at the portal and her eyes narrowed, sizing up the quality of it. "... Perhaps we should avoid conflict for the moment," she observed with a lowered voice, "We just ended a round of combat. It might be best to stay around the edges of this area and gather supplies and rest for a bit."

Myth sat down, crossed legged. "Pretty sure there is a goddess of gunpowder and firearms... Although I don't know her name. Supposedly she was a mortal that managed to kill a greater demon using 30 pounds of gunpowder and a slow-burn fuze." He sighed, and started to gather the shade up, this time however, it seemed to dilute, and the area became lighter. "Doesn't seem like we'll be in combat, might as well make it brighter..." He took a deep breath, and began speaking in a different tounge.

"Proše mižu: --Žaneno, tan satenam mážula er gorat, kiei finta attróue so syel er tan lažecom brac, pro dy řo ažlädam fne soa pera almea Ekaiei." He took a breath, a tear running down his face, before switching to common; "-... I miss you guys..."

(Assuming this is the camp phase.) After this, he wiped his face and gathered some twigs from the branches, clearing an area in the middle of the room to prevent the fire spreading and igniting everything. He crudely dug a pit about a meter deep, and built a small campfire, which was well contained, all things considered. He then carefully unbuckled the sheathes for his swords, and put them next to him on the ground.

Spoiler

Camp abilities:

Potential: Shadowfrag; Myth consults with Hammerhead to make a specialist grenade that when used, increases his power and deals magical via the shadows.

'Actual':

Ebony Whetstone: Myth creates a whetstone to sharpen his swords and daggers, and any other bladed weaponry, temporarily increasing their damage.

Drink of the Ünterfire: Myth takes a sip from his flask, healing minor injuries permemenantly, and temporarily healing larger ones. Also works as a painkiller.

Whisper of Dream: Myth needs very little sleep, so even a 15-minute nap refreshes him immensely. After his rest, he is more alert and his magic sharper.
