As far as I've seen, all the other characters have their arms the same colour as their face skin, but this is not the case for Wilson. It looks odd that his hands are different colour to his head which makes you wonder either if his hands and arms are really, really hairy or his body has a weird tone with black arms but a white head. This also makes you wonder what colour his legs and torso are. Anyone noticed this, or is it just me? Could the black colour might suggest that he has something to do with shadows and that this was even before he entered or even built the portal to Don't starve world? I dunno, but my guess is that it's just a mistake of developers and that when they first released the game with Wilson being the only character, there was no much intention of developing the game much and when the game started to develop, devs just thought that the weird colour difference is just something not too important. That is what I think. Surely devs could tell us what it really is, so I'm hoping for a dev answer. What do you guys think? Tarkolis Posted February 7, 2015 Share Posted February 7, 2015 If I'm not mistaken, Klei said once that this happened because they sketched Wilson on paper when they developed the game and on the small picture he had black lines as arms.Later when they put him in the game they just kept it and like the explanation that he has those long gloves on his arms (Don't know how they are called). But then if you look at some other official artwork his hands are black... So I have no idea! My personal headcanon is that Wilson usually wears very long gloves, because he doesn't like to touch "icky nature things" with his bare hands. Or maybe he has thick wooly arm-beards. Or not motivated enough to go get the required logs since come to think of it he probably had wood heating given the time.
