What mod/mod-feature would you personally like to see added into DST?

Shipwrecked & Hamlet compatibility mods obviously.

Some player created mods like Cherry Forest would be awesome too.

Oh and that one Haunted Houses mod I have been wanting for a Hallowed Nights update.

The Forge and the Gorge mods. I don't think there's any reason why they can't be part of the unmodded game, exactly as they are. Without them, so much excellent content created by Klei is just gone, totally inaccessible. And I think that's a waste and a shame.

(No Thermal Stone Durability)

(Light Flowers Above Ground)

-It makes light bulbs grow in the swamp (my internet is bad for working caves, so this mod becomes incredibly useful, apart from that I always thought it matches-

(Action Queue)

(My pet)

-Give more life to the poor pets-

(G10MM-3R)

-I know the last one is a little too much, but I always wanted something like this to help with item collection since, I always play solo-

and others that I forgot that I consider good XD

Geometric Placement,  No Thermal Stone Durability, Closer Placement, Snapping Tills, Combined Status, Action Queue, Extra Equip Slots, Hats For Abigail, Status Announcements, Gesture Wheel, Fish Items From Water, Moggle Vision Fixed.

A bit more cheaty - Cluster Plant, Cluster Craft, Storeroom, Fish Farm, Ocean Plow.

I speak for every console player when I say:

Geometric placement.

If you're a console player and you disagree we are voting you OFF the island.

I don't even play console and I agree with you. Pub servers must have some of the most scuffed bases ever.

Baseline:
- Don't Starve Alone
- Force Biome (Biomes not set pieces!)
- Tin Fishin' Bin: On the Docks

Things found in options Menu:
- Sanity Volume Limiter
- Geometric Placement
- Snow Tile Disabler
- Combined Stats

Glommer Transport

This is my favorite mod of the workshop. I don't like grades like geometric placement, but i still love to base building and i really hate to destroy estructures and remake them, as i already put the efforts to make once

edit: extra, i really wanted special features for Glommer, something to move me to get him at day 11. Now, with the hostile flares, this is a little bit solved

Geometric Placement.

Place Statues - so you can place them like walls.

Scythe for gathering grass and twigs.

Imperishable Thermal Stone.

Snapping Tills.

Craft Pot recipes - it should be built in with cookbook somehow.

And Combined Status but expanded with beefalo status bar and something like Wormwood bloom predictor.

P.S.: Container Opening Range - so you don't have to know exactly how to setup your kitchen, among other things.

(Most if not all of these would definitely be toggleable options in Worldgen, not automatically applied)

--Cherry Forest.  I love having new biomes around.  (Thanks for using one of my own screenshots there, Mike23Ua.  :))

--Dusk and Night Music (client version, so everyone can individually choose whether to listen to it or not)  I think it's pretty good. They remix the original songs in a way that still sounds like them, but toned down for dusk and even MORE toned down for night.  (My personal fave is the winter dusk music.  It's so pretty.)
--Night Creatures  (Night butterflies, owl hoots in the distance, etc.)  Both of the above would add more ambience to potentially dull parts of the day.

--Big Birchnuts Together and Evergreens 2Gether  They do this:

Rather, they give more of a _range_ for trees to grow to.  9 sizes altogether.  Yes, the biggest birch and evergreen ones do drop 9 logs--10 if you dig the stump.  Which will be bigger than you.

...a lot.

--Pickle It!  For more veggie variety and the ability to preserve them for travel like how we can do with meat.  (Some of the veggies in it are now in-game--but only to grow as crops, not findable out in the world as the mod does. Basically I think just ONE wild veggie (carrots) is not enough.)

mybuddythetree.png.60b441d1f78d0a3e96f104696f7f4a18.png

(That's a wild potato.  Maybe as many as four.)

--A tone-down-able version of Birds and Berries and Trees With Friends (for more fruit variety.)  It gives pineapples, different kinds of berries (one of which isn't so nice unless cooked with other stuff) and apple trees.)

Spoiler

idunnsapples.thumb.png.4470e939047d8d84cb682864420871ce.png

(They don't grow in rows like this naturally; I made my own orchard.)

oopsberries.thumb.png.02621d45b9de2e1c2dcb37e26dfed1ea.png

(Seen here:  Two purple berry bushes and a pineapple bush.  I'd have them spaced further apart/less of them, but this IS convenient for screenshot/demonstration purposes.  Not shown:  A green berry bush, which is also part of this mod.)

--Thirst  For those who like things a little harder!  I'd go with the earlier version, which unfortunately doesn't work anymore.  But it was simpler.  And a bit meaner.  (The Thirst mod is actually being used in a couple of the above pictures--that's what that kidney icon is from.)

--Actual Season Randomizer:  For those who play long-term and want their worlds nice and weird.  (The in-game random seasons don't do the same thing--everything gets randomised ONCE and then sticks that way as long as the world exists.  So you get more of a different _climate_, than unpredictability.)

--Desert Enhancement/Archipelago  For those who want to do big engineering changes to their entire worlds' environments/landscapes.

Spoiler

tumbleweedcity.thumb.png.1f2dbbfc06aad7caed4919f98fd29fc5.png

(You can't tell from just this shot, but this is from a modern (2022) desert world.  It DOES still work!)

And last but not least, the very first mod I ever downloaded:  Imperishable Thermal Stone, because I started from regular DS where it doesn't break, and eff that noise.  : P

Basically I want more variety of resources and nature, but not necessarily MORE of everything, to make it easier.  Just _different_ stuff.

(why old screenshots ;_;)

For me mostly what I need in game from mods is geometric placement (toggleable) and sort of geometric drop (same, with toggle)? I forgor the name.

Some eye-bleach with current world screenshot in today's CF, and both well aware the mod comes from suuuper far away in term of art development, different technics :?

0-.thumb.jpg.8fe6e8d70698b5c5bb7bfe98fdf99251.jpg

(Also still glad working on this after all these years, more to come from all these ideas waiting on my mind, but that's to stay a mod in our case and that's better that way, just sometimes sad that console players doesn't the chance to experiment the whole workshop)

I want some aspects of the combined status mod to be a part of the game.

Temperature stats and numbers always showing for stats would be a massive help.

And of course the infamous Geometric placement, I genuinely don't think this game is as enjoyable without it, especially console versions.
