Blue Moth Posted March 6, 2022 Share Posted March 6, 2022 Sorry to bring up an old topic, but I had a conversation with some of the folks behind that game "Stay in Destiny World", it had a thread talking about it a little while ago. It was insightful, though I did say a few choice words here, so if you're not a fan of swearing, you've been warned: Spoiler While I myself could definitely have been more civil, I think this does show how unprofessional these guys really are. Also, there's been some ingame footage released since the last discussion of the game, and I just wanna say this looks like absolute garbage stayindestinyworld.mp4 However, despite the incompetence, these people do seem to be somewhat nice, though I dunno if that's just because they were trying to keep their act together or not. Also one last thing I wanna mention is the fact that the devs of the don't starve knockoff game complimented my art. Unless they're using actual assets from DST I don't see the problem. Trust me - no one is leaving DST to play this ... thing... As for its horrendous graphics, well its a blockchain games. Those are nearly all trash because they devs know they can make money hooking blockchain enthusiasts but they don't know the first thing about actually developing a game. The tech is a separate thing though, and I'm pretty certain blockchains are going to become married to gaming as much as online connectivity is now (which is to say - we don't always like it - but it is mostly good.) I dunno, it's just really funny to think about, that should go on my resume I have seen better visuals and mechanics from mobile games, like, Sky: children of the light, Haven travel, Hungry heart diner, summer of memories, and a lot more that I can name, even other blockchain games look better than this, a Thai NFT game it looks like a pretty decent 3d MMORPG game that I just can't find the picture of, Splinterlands, Contract Servant, Chainmonsters, Axie Infinity, The Sandbox. If you gonna make an NFT game then the least you could do is have your own ( consistent and better ) art style and gameplay that are more engaging at least more than an idle game. Also, are the developer Asian? I'm so sorry if any of the developers from stay destiny world and forumite is offended by my comment please let me know I will fix it immediately. For the future to anyone who needs to hear this: Don't provide information about your own artwork to people, who show that low of a moral about copyright. Even if they try to taunt you and pretend to doubt your skill. You don't need to prove you're an artist, they need to fecking stop.
