Apparently when you get higher and higher ranks in the admiralty, you get longer and longer weapons.

Ah yes.
So sayeth the original Gaft, founder of the admiralty, fought with nothing more than an abnormally large spoon, at least twice her height!

That has also been speculated to be the reason she died.

I'm sorry but there's a hole in your story.

Also:

droad_tail_spike =
    {
        name = "Droad Tail Spike",
        desc = "Apply {WOUND 2}.",
        anim = "stab",
        flavour = "'Wait... you killed that thing?'",

        cost = 1,

        rarity = CARD_RARITY.UNIQUE,
        flags = CARD_FLAGS.MELEE | CARD_FLAGS.EXPEND | CARD_FLAGS.ITEM,

        min_damage = 4,
        max_damage = 6,

        OnPostResolve = function( self, battle, attack )
            attack:AddCondition("WOUND", 2, self)
        end
    },
shroog_fang =
    {
        name = "Shroog Fang",
        anim = "stab",
        flavour = "'A very impressive trophy, best I can do is fifteen.'",
        desc = "Apply {1} {WOUND}. Gain {2} {POWER}.",
        desc_fn = function( self, fmt_str )
            return loc.format(fmt_str, self.wound_amt, self.power_amt)
        end,

        cost = 1,

        rarity = CARD_RARITY.UNIQUE,
        flags = CARD_FLAGS.ITEM | CARD_FLAGS.MELEE | CARD_FLAGS.EXPEND,

        wound_amt = 2,
        power_amt = 2,

        min_damage = 4,
        max_damage = 5,

        OnPostResolve = function( self, battle, attack )
            for i, hit in attack:Hits() do
                hit.target:AddCondition("WOUND", self.wound_amt, self)
            end
            self.owner:AddCondition("POWER", self.power_amt, self)

    },

The droad card does 1 max damage, so it's not strictly worse, but...

Has a great boon. His bane isn't that bad for you actually, if you negotiate with hesh characters. For some reason, the argument hesh characters create depends on how many wrath and prayers you have. If you have equal or more wrath than prayer, they will create wrath. Otherwise, they will create prayer.(Starting from turn 2). This means you can stop worrying about wraths as early as turn 2! Exciting!

Lore tab now exists.

No apparent ways of unlocking it though. You can use the unlock all mod to unlock the lore. There are few characters that has loved bio, hated bio, and drank with bio.
