Lammarr
The EPIC mod has Steve from Minecraft,Warbucks from Hamlet,Hol Horse and DIO from Jojo's Bizarre Adventures:Stardust Crusaders,a female version of Wes and some Weird OCs. They're my favorite modded character squad tbh. Edited November 6, 2019 by Lammarr

TheMelonNinja
The only Workshop characters I'll use are the Shipwrecked Characters mod made by CheeseNuggets101, and the Hamlet Characters mod by Hornet once it gets tweaked and refined a bit more. Speaking of CheeseNuggets101, their Team Fortress 2 character mods are incredibly well made as well - I just don't tend to use them because part of my brain hates that they're characters from a different franchise. Womp the Abyssal was a very good mod, as Womp himself feels like he could have been a genuine canon character. It's just a shame how it's not being frequently updated anymore, unlike the mods mentioned above. The second I see Wilson quotes, it just irks me. Yeah, I've played as her...and have a screenshot or two of it around here somewhere...anyway I remember she starts off "normal" looking, and then can get a few sanity points back by putting ON her mime-makeup, which is a nice little idea. And yes, it does fade away after a bit due to regular wear and tear, so you can put it on again later. The EPIC mod is interesting, I've heard good things about Womp, and count me as another vote on the Shipwrecked Characters mod. Definitely, on that one--I played as Walani for my entire 400-days plus of the Civilization Challenge! AND the redos, due to my own stupidity/crashes... I also used to be rather fond of Winnie, but I feel she hasn't been updated and probably won't work anymore. She's a shepherdess vegetarian, and plays a bit differently from Wurt because instead of the whole tower-defense-Merm-base thing, she can call a flock of weird pink sheep to her to help her out (a limited number of times), and she grows crops noticeably faster. If you've got spring + rain + advanced farms + Winnie being the one who planted them, you almost can't even keep UP! Also the pink sheep things will fight hounds regardless of who you're playing as, are a good extra source of poop in case of a world where it takes forever to find the beefalo, and leave meat and cotton candy when they die. : P Downside: Obviously, as with Wurt, WINTER. Unless you've got a well-set-up base with lots of good food storage available, Winnie is going to suffer. ("Guuuuuyyysss, I'm STARVIIINNGGGG!" "Oh! I found another birchnut! It's not _too_ rotten; hang on I'll cook it with my lighter." "STALE BIRCHNUTS, YAY, MY FAVOURITE."--actual dialogue from one of my games.) And I don't know how _fun_ she is to play, but the Cherry Forest mod now comes with a new character named "Wirlywings". She's DEFINITELY not easymode--if you don't have three companions with you at night her sanity _plummets_. if you're one of those "You SHOULD be insane in Don't Starve Together!" types you may want that feature on purpose--but I don't know if your Hardcore Gamerness can deal with...THE CUTE. : P ...Notorious
GetNerfedOn
The Rosalina mod. She's essentially just a reworked Wicker, with 125 HP, 275 sanity (which actually makes it surprisingly hard to get out of insanity) 200 hunger, slower runspeed, a largely reduced crafting tier, and the inability to craft On Tentacles. She gets nonperishable Star Bits from moon rocks, tho. A nice bonus is that the mod author went above and beyond their call of duty to make her examination quotes. She have some good perks on multiplayer to help players and yourself : You can share good prepared food to players with a percent of their properties depending of the number of players. And /wave some mobs to befriend them or players once per day to reduce the drop of sanity during night. But when it's dusk and night or in caves, your sanity drain is 5x more important, to counter that, you can reduce or even gain sanity by having more friend with you, having a critter works as a follower only if it is not hungry, and if it is Plump (well feed trait), it's twice efficient ! So I believe you can have good moments playing with this character. Edited November 7, 2019 by ADM
