Greep
o.O How is that even possible? 50 algae distillers or sandbox? You can get a pretty extreme amount of food poisoning with infected slush geysers or whatever they're called, though, but that's a lot for slimelung. Coolthulhu
This seems to trigger in situations similar to ones that caused drip cooling. I had it happen with food poisoning when I submerged algal terrariums in germy water and the bubbles kept moving the water around. Miravlix
Just pump the same water through a vent over and over and disable disinfection on the vent, every pump through adds gems. I only tried it with food poisoning though, might work better with polluted air for slimelung. Tzunki
If you tip your little toe in such a water you get Slimelung that decrease your immunity 169 % per day For that you need a gigantic suppository Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/91004-extreme-amount-of-germs/#findComment-1037108 Share on other sites
Jun12
Update: unsuccesfully the germs died within a few cycles and there is about 4000 per tile, also sorry for replaying late. as coolthulhu said it might be from dripping(?) since it was falling from the upper levels. Arash70
The game probably had an overflow somewhere which got fixed by saving and loading it on the next session you played. Anyways I learned something today, you can use the pitcher pump and throw the bottled water into an ore scrubber to decontaminate it. @Kabrute Quote but to provide a definitive answer, to destroying chlorine, set up an ore scrubber between a bottle emptier and bottling station and run the output line from the bathrooms to one side, pull germ from water from the other, delete chlorine in the scrubbers between. 0xFADE
Oh so the ore scrubber is a sink for material then. I assumed it was only for 'ore' squeaky pufts delete chlorine too and are quite cuter. I know for sure that Slimelung die off after reaching a peak population, the tooltip would say something like overpopulation and how many percent of the germs die each cycle. I have never seen Slimelung in Pwater, only in PO2, the only germs in Pwater i've encountered is Food poisoning. Checked Dupepedia: Slimelung grows in Slime and PO2 only and "killed by" Liquid, so it's fine it died off in PW. nivodeus
like @staring_frog said, it should die off in Pwater. I never seen it because I send most of my Pwater from distiller into fertilizer maker and only a fraction goes to the main tank, and maybe it dies off before i get the chance to see it.
