  1. @Hekateras my RAM is not even fully used. Never had BSOD due to ONI. I have BSODs due to Twitch
  2. @Nedigo I get 10-12 FPS at 3x speed on your save, 25 at 1x, again hardware is not used up.
  3. I have the same issue, according to Task Manager no hardware limits are hit, but still the game runs at 20-30 fps dropping even lower 20 fps occasionally during the cycle. Scrolling lags even at 30 fps. Thanks for posting this.
  4. Thanks for reporting a bug. Lots of people abusing this bug to delete gases/liquids. Airlocks delete matter once they're closed and matter has nowhere to go (adjacent tiles a occupied). I'd like this bug to be fixed too.
  5. @Nedigo everyone is having same issues, there are LOTS and LOTS of posts regarding game performance. I have this problem too. Thanks for posting a bug. @Nedigo @Yobbo check Task manager, the game is not hitting any limits, but still runs with low FPS. It's not the RAM issue. It's a game issue. Here is a screenshot with a game running at 3x speed at 20-30 FPS, which means scrolling lags already. But no hardware limits are hit yet. I've profiled the game a bit, it seems like it can't scale to use CPU properly and runs on 1-2 cores. When I've commented out in-game BrainScheduler which controls dupes and critters I guess, FPS went up by 15, looks like that's where most CPU is used.
  6. @EricKlei I get nearly the same picture. It turns out it's not drying up issue, it's a bug with compressing water: some random tiles bordering with air in the caves at the bottom freak out and get up to 30 tons/tile with tiles right next to them with 1.4ton/tile which leads to this tile layout malfunction. I see that now tiles gain pressure with depth, that's cool! Actually I remember zipping up a save file and dropping it at the opening post, but it's lost, damn it! Anyway I'll try again. UPD I updated the post title to reflect the issue. UPD2 And another bug I guess is that worldgen is not updated to reflect the new physics with pressure increasing with depth.
  7. Updates are great news ^_^ Actually I checked and that ocean looses mass with a tremendous speed. Pressure is usual 1 ton per tile. Compressing starts happening right away once area is explored and settles in quite fast, in a couple of minutes. But in this case mass loss happens over a long time for maaany cycles and still goes on.
  8. I have a similar problem: opening a Research tree takes a LOT of time _each_ time!
  9. UPD It turned out to be a different issue: see comments. "Water moonlet" is an interesting problem to tackle. But right now it just dries up over time due to being exposed to space. I guess that's not what was intended.
  10. Memory leak is when an application allocates memory and then "forgets" about it and it's never returned. Allocating memory is fine it's required for game objects and then garbage collector frees up unused objects' memory time to time. What would show a memory leak is a gradual increase in memory usage over a long time with the same map content.
  11. Algae Terrarium is able to suck in water if placed in water which saves A LOT of duplicant time and that is not described anywhere in the game docs.
  12. On the starting screen "mailing list" button leads to opening a link which results in displaying an error "The Steam ID was not recognized.". I had an issue doing that in Windows as well, same error I think. What I wanted to do is to subscribe for DLC release notification by email.
  13. I get the same bug with dupe stuck at eternal digging. Usually happens with unstable tiles like sand and regolith. I attach a save just in case, dupe stuck at mining regolith at the bottom of a rocket. Home.sav
  14. It would be nice to be able to choose "Any" material and then Dupes would pick one which is closer to find. Most of the time it doesn't matter which material to use. And the one laying around makes building faster.
  15. It's also using constant 120W if enabled and set to "Open". Which is not supposed to be happening I guess.
