Korlie Posted April 3, 2018 Share Posted April 3, 2018 One thing I've noticed for awhile is that there seems to be a relation between the age of characters and the size of their hands. Everybody circled in red has tiny hands, Wendy being the only one of them from the original characters. It's a very specific detail to have since every other character has generally the same hand size, and is an adult, but the one child has specifically smaller hands to emphasize she's a child. Which makes sense since as a child she would have smaller hands. Then it goes on to Webber, who is also a child and thus would have tiny hands, but then Wigfrid and Walani have it too. Everybody else in the roster who is generally an adult has the same relative hand size, including Willow who is only in her probably early twenties. So based on this pattern, as well as their general behavior and maturity, it means Walani and Wigfrid are both teenagers. Meaning the distinction is characters that are officially adults, twenty plus, have large hands while adolescents and children have small hands. There's also sub-distinctions in the hands, both of the very first characters in the game story Maxwell and Wilson share the same hand visual. And both inhuman characters WX and Wilbur share a unique hand shape, which Wolfgang also has. So based on that pattern, Wolfgang isn't human. But he didn't sell it very well to begin with. Zeklo Posted April 3, 2018 Share Posted April 3, 2018 I dunno, I like it, but I feel like it could go either way: Wendy has small hands because she is a child. So having small hands means you are a child. Wendy is a child, so it makes sense she has small hands. So having small hands doesn't necessarily mean you're a child. Now that said, I think the characters you pointed out would be the most likely to be younger, so I can definitely see it as a possibility. Though I don't think I can agree with the Wolfgang statement. It's true two of the three with those hands are inhuman, but I think the common factor is that they're bulky. A robot, a monkey, and a strong man. Otherwise wouldn't Webber technically have small hands that look like that? He doesn't really have hands at all, they just kinda blend into his noodle arms. Those eyebrows definitely rule out Wigfrid. You're thinking of Wilson. Willow was said to be in her early 20s. After a bit longer search, (I think) I found the sources I read earler. The two are quite contradictory, so I'm not sure which one is more reliable (if either at all), and I'm too much tired right now to think further on that objectively enough. Tho I agree that the one with the 20's seems more real. But at least I remembered correctly that I read somewhere that Willow is around 30. They are not gloves and they are not like their skin color. A design choice you may think on this one? Yes. My guess is the same for the tiny hands hypothesis.
