But, it hurts me that the Guardian doesn't respawn in multiplayer and it's still not fixt. Lol, just add a respawn rate of like 30 days? I want to build a couple of ''Houndius Shootius'' Also It's okay that we don't have a oldbell but give glommer some other functions with his loot. There only being 1 horn is a bit lame, what if something accidentally eats it? What if your houndius breaks? Plus on top of that, being able to get endless amounts of thulecite without faffing about with deconstruction staves would be nice. (Especially since teleportatoing worlds isn't a thing yet) As for Glommer, he's fine as is for a lil sanity boost and his goop. These are still 1 completely useless item(The wings) and 1 that's not useless but its use is near that. (1 Houndius Shootius is as good as none) Objectively, that should change, especially when one of them is among the most important items in singleplayer. But I agree that the Guardian need to respawn his fight is a way too easy , 2 players can kill him without a problem for it to be - only 1 epic battle per game . True the item you get is really useful and nice but still ... I think he needs to respawn . If they want to make him one time kill for his item at least make the battle harder so it feels like you are fighting something epic . As I mentioned in my topic on the issue of world renewability (found here), in a multiplayer settings, things being non-renewable, like the guardian's horn is a huge issue because this is basically eradicating content on a server forever; the horn can be eaten, the shootius can be destroyed by something like a bunch of angry mobs or one angry giant, a griefer or a noob coming in, taking the horn and leaving with it and possibly some other things that I can't think of the top of my head. In short, everything need to be either renewable or indestructible & unpickable (e.g. like the stage hand) if you want a long-lasting server, especially if it's public and not have content erased from your server because someone else's fault. Non-renewability works well in single player because you can move over a world without losing your progress to renew things and if something gets destroyed, most times it'll be your own fault. Still maybe we will get it back in some kind of new form @Serpens these things shouldnt be "broken" like they are now. Of course there are mods but coming from DS, Klei changed world to only 1 cave (from 3!) and added 5 more players so it is 1 horn for 6 people VS 3 horns for 1 guy. There is a big foot icon for the world customisation files but not ingame so we can only hope . It was added a LONG time ago .
