How to 100% Money Back Guarantee GG Rekt Toadstool

Hello hello ladies and gentlemen, today I, with @Michi01 and @Sketched_Philo present to you a 100% foolproof AFK Healer noob-Tank and crappy DPS thorough failsafe money back guarantee tiptop-toptip way to kill the Toadstool without the requirement of a whole band of Mighty Wolfbangs with 24 dnak swords.

Doing it this way takes a whole lot of resources, but it does work. You could probably get away with using less flingo's, but we had a few failed attempts before- so we just went overboard with them.

I would go more in-depth as to how we thought of this method but I'm hurting for time right now, so @Michi01, if you would. B]

Okay so at first sketch had the idea of using a circle of flingos with boards and stars in the middle which can make it really easy to kill most bosses (but isn't really worth using since most bosses aren't that difficult). So we tried it for some time but it always ended up failing because the toadstool constantly pushed the boards away. So then I had the idea of using the light flowers and plants around the ponds at its set piece since it can't push them away but it didn't work extremely well either since there's only a few of those there so ryan had the idea of planting flowers.
So yeah basically that's how we came up with this method let's see if this gets patched or if it gets left in since it does take quite a lot of effort to do (I'm generally just hoping the toadstool gets nerfed).

I like the characters you chose for demonstration. The Scientist because you had to kill him with science and FOR SCIENCE and The Warrior because epic boss fight duh.

There truly is no stopping those who want something done badly enough!

Aww, save your gears guys! The bug was caused by a tiny typo in one line of code, which was fixed in the last hotfix already.  The flingo trap is super cool tho!  I've seen it on streams before, but not quite this extreme :wilson_dead:

Bug? Typo? Please clarify, I don't see anything in the hotfix info.

The "escape" state was supposed to be immune to freezing, among other things. I didn't see a small typo fix, but there was some code added related to freezing.

Ah. Well, that's a shame. Considering they fixed that and didn't touch the health, I guess the Frog is supposed to be nearly impossible to beat, even with a full server.

That's kind of a downer. What a waste.

@BOSSzombie Yeah, I agree. It really needs to be either tuned down or have some ways of extending the fight. Preferably both. My guess is that they're waiting to see if people figure out ways of killing it (like this... but without freezing, I guess) before they potentially trivialize it by nerfing it.

Maybe you can break it if you make two animations interfere badly (Me and my pals got lucky and broke the Dragonfly on PS4 using a Pan Flute as it was going into the Lava. Too bad it happened at the end of the fight). But legitimately? Doubtful. There's probably something to that "5x Damage" people are reading about in it's code.

I still think that the two ideas of a ludicrous amount of health and a timer for a fight are great, just not combined. They could easily make two cool bosses out of this concept, rather than the current mess of the Toadstool.

I'm hoping they have more planned for the froggy fiend.

The typo was in the freezable component that checks for this state.  Just wanted to let you guys know that we are working on a couple of things with the Toadstool, the tuning as well as the spawning mechanic, which should be coming sometime next week.

Before they make it so spears/blowdarts do more damage but just leave giant clouds of toxic spores as a side effect of popping it. :) 

I haven't given up on this yet because rock lobsters are immune to freezing but even these 15 constantly attacking it weren't enough to take it down and I'm too tired for more experimentation for today
