Following their thread, I studied how they did the derp artstyle. Stinky and Maxwell as Wildstar and Desslock from Space Battleship Yamato. I thought it'd be funny to draw the villain as Maxwell. He'd probably look good in a cape. As for Stinky... He's the least likely person to be connected with that hero but I thought it'd be funny. Currently watching Legend of the Galactic Heroes. So several factors: The 3 day vacation to Philadelphia, trying to settle back in, working on this for three days(When I only intended one), and then scanning my father's paperwork. NOW. Finally got it on here. Will probably take eons to get onto facebook and tumblr next. Just thought I'd recreate the one man band scene from Mary Poppins with Wes and Willow in their Victorian skins. Also through in a Gorge pig due to them being like lower class Irish people. The reason why the character designs are off for the pedestrians are due to this being made just as the trailer was released for the beta. Had to work from screencaps back in... March? Just had to use a mug property to replace beer. Winona and Wilson working on Model Ts. I saw some toy models of Coca cola cars at Hobby Lobby last year and wanted to draw the two mechanically inclined individuals to work on something similar. Listened to that Prog-rock version of War of the Worlds while coloring. Also had to fix some of the lineart digitally since the postern needed to be taller. I finally got the illustrations done! Took me a year just to get the next chapters illustration's done but I hope to be faster on the next chapter since no one edited the next chapter. I really wanted to get some editors on my fic since I thought that checking for spelling and grammar mistakes would help the reader, but I'll just submit the next chapter without any help. Oh well. As usual, I storyboarded for my illustration before doing the final art: Feel free to comment on the fanfic page. No ref art, just wanted to get this idea out of my head. Due to the lines being rough, I redrew it to be cleaner. My father was fine with this.
