Mina glanced over Lefay and noticed the signs of hunger. Taking a look at the setting sun to see if there would be enough time, she uttered a quick "brb" and sped off. She quickly gained momentum and was out of sight before anyone could even ask why. She came back about a minute later, jumping and skidding to a stop with three carrots and a couple handfuls of berries in hand and gave them to Lefay. "Eat them *huff* slowly *huff* you'll be *huff* fuller." she huffed out in between fast breaths as she plopped down by the fire to rest.

Mark wondered why Judas refused to shake his hand, but decided not to press the matter. "Sure, no problem!"

He was about to answer Lefay about the lack of food when he heard Mina saying something, but he couldn't quite makeup what she said, nor how she was gone so fast. <Wait, she was right here some seconds ago... huh, she must be really stealthy.> That was the only explanation he could come up with. <After all she couldn't have...> His thoughts were cut short by Mina's quick arrival.

She appeared like she had ran a marathon. Not too far from that, since she managed to collect three carrots Pete knows where in that short amount of time. It was amazing, and Mark was quite astonished. "Wait... Mina, you were just here, but then you left... now you're back and... carrots?" His fingers going from pointing to Mina, to the campfire, to the carrots and to the berries she had collected.

Lefay shook her head in disbelief. "....Thank you, Mina......I think......I don't remember ever seeing someone run so fast.....then again, I can't seem to remember much of anything..."

Lefay ate the berries, having to force herself to eat them slowly.

"....Oh!......yeah. I do.....there's got to be a better use for it than just eating it. Doesn't grow on trees."

Vilsig heard something slide toward him from the looming darkness around the campfire. It was a large, dusty tome. There was a note on top of it that said:

"To Lefay

From: Friends in Strange Places

The wilderness is never your friend. Remember this. I hope this comes in handy on your journey."

Mina put a finger on her chin thoughtfully. "I don't know. I've never really thought about HOW it works to be honest. I just want to go fast and then I go fast. Don't ask how I got this 'super power' either, because I don't know. It just happened when I was running away."

The tome appeared to be full of recipes for various foods, and blueprints for the kind of crazy devices only a mad scientist could have designed. After a few moments, Vilsig felt a shadow claw grab the back of his neck.

"And here I thought you weren't one for a good read, Vilsig. Hahaha. But in all seriousness, what are you up to?...", Mistaria said, mere feet away from Vilsig, hidden in the darkness.

(Jesus, I never seem to have enough time now!)

Corthias, who realized how rude she was being staring at the woodsman and his. . .ax, introduced herself.

"My name is Corthias, sir. Corthias Hearth, daughter of Charles Hearth and Aurrel Perrel."

She tilted forward a little in a bit of a bow, less to show her manners and more to hide the book behind her as she bowed. Straightening up, she talked to the man, hoping to keep a conversation. Conversation! With a human being! Astounding.

"I have one question; should I be worried that I'm hearing an ax talk? Or is that. . .normal in this world?"

"With the council watching us? Vilsig, i'm not stupid. Suppose someone overhears us. The plan would be put in danger. If you really are so intent on knowing, I can let you have a discussion with the council, and they can explain it to you. But my lips, themselves, will not let the truth escape so easily."

Mistaria sighed.

"Once everyone is asleep, meet me in the abandoned savannah."

Mistaria disappeared. The book was just barely visible in the campfire's light. Lefay got up and walked over to it. She picked it up and read the note. "Hmph.........how strange......"
