LevJones
I know that the bunny huts have no purpose yet because the caves haven't been added, but what other things are there? Is there a list any where? I want to avoid reading the wiki to find out what everything does as discovering how things work is pretty fun at the moment, but I don't want to spend hours trying to find things or make things work if its not possible. So what things are in DST that currently serve no purpose?
InSpace
They can still be spawned in, they aren't without purpose

XirmiX
Was gonna list a whole bunch of things with them being useless in different ways... but then it's too much work with no particular point as this stuff is gonna be reworked and implemented later anyway. Clwnbaby
Things that will come soon when the rest of the giants get added: Scaled Chest Scale Mail Weather pain HUH? Scaled chest and armor? really? Ill know I'll use the armor and Im sure it will be somewhat popular in PvP. As for Weather pain I think that was already a completely underused item as is. I see many RoG streams that don't ever use it. When I made my first one I went on and on many times on my stream about how the Weather Pain is AMAZING. People just never realized how awesome it was. I cant wait for Goose Moose so I can make it again. Unfortunately now due to this post I may be fighting others for it.
Flare2V
Dare I say it... "NIGHT LIGHT"! O__ONight light's an awesome decoration item. It might not have any survival use, sure, but late game in Don't Starve is hardly about survival, so...
rezecib
@Clwnbaby, I agree, I love the Weather Pain. I just wish that it was a bit more reliable getting the volt goat horns for it, since there's rarely more than 6 volt goats at once and they often suicide into hound mounds. But I interpreted his question to mean "items that are in the game but not really obtainable", rather than "items that have no purpose", since he cited bunny hutches, which are obviously functional but cannot be obtained normally. LevJones
Thanks for the responses, "not obtainable" is a better way to say what I was thinking.

I hope down the line there is a way for Volt Goats to repopulate. Also I am surprised no one has mentioned the Pan Flute as of yet. Since Mandrakes are still not in the game as of yet. Beyond the one pan flute that shows up in RoG beta by Glommer's Statue.
enragedcamel
Night light's an awesome decoration item. It might not have any survival use, sure, but late game in Don't Starve is hardly about survival, so... Still, they could add some use to it. For example, they could make it so that it reduces the light levels around it and allows one to sleep.

You could line a road with them and use them as street lights... light them with the "FireStaff" and potentially crash the game XD Firestaff... firestaff... why?
